Good and clean art, that what I want! :). Fun factor is not high at this game, but maybe next time you will think more about that and it will be better. Partly match the theme, maybe next time it will be better.. Somebody use more time to think about the game then others, it is visible in inovations!.

One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will appreciate very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)

Came across a glaring bug: shooting without pressing a direction just drops a still bullet. And probably would enjoyed it more if the camera was zoomed out a little. That said, it's a good first Ludum Dare entry.

@Anonymous, thank you for the review! Honest reviews are always appreciated.
@defilerzero Thank you! Although this was not initially intended, I decided to leave it because I think it's kind of funny that GonZolas just spits it out

Enemy and main character design is interesting. The game can't be played as intended (using directional bullets) as enemies are too fast and running towards them is most often suicide, though I guess someone with more practice in the game can pull that off. What I ended up doing is dropping bullets on the ground by not moving (bug or a feature?) and leading enemies into them. My favorite tactics would be to cover a passage in bullets and lead enemies into them when they appear. Another remark is that limiting controls to ASDF (without arrow keys) means you're forcing players to play with left hand. But congrats on finishing your first LD game, that is a big step.

I also ended up dropping "bullets" and trying to kite enemies into them :)

This has promise, but needs some adjustments. The view is zoomed in way too far; you can't see enough of the map around you, and combined with the speed of the enemies, there's not enough time to react when they appear and you just run straight into them. I tried three times, died immediately and got zero points on all three tries, and only on the third try did I even *see* any of the coins I was supposed to be collecting.

The graphics and audio are a bit simplistic, but they're not terrible, and this is your first game jam so I don't want to be too harsh. There's definitely promise here - I like the mechanic of being able to shoot stationary bullets that act like traps - and I think if you keep practicing and working on it, you can definitely turn this into something very enjoyable.
