The character controller was definitely something we were struggling to get right.
It is a good thing that we made the character a little bit faster for the final build. :)
Totally enjoyable like says other comments of course, good job.
As others have said, jump is a bit floaty. I found myself jumping way over most hazards.
I also had some problems to figure out how and why the balls and spiky balls changed with the colors. Maybe I misunderstood, but could those be color coded as well?
Biggest issue for me was that there are no checkpoints and levels can be quite large. I stopped playing in a level (I am sorry, I do not remember number) where you climb up, with same platforms on each side, only different colors. It was quite long way from spawn point and I ran there multiple times... and kept dying on the climb part:

Overall it was a fun little experience. I pointed out I was jumping way over most obstacles, and I kind of liked how fast I was able to go. Especially some horizontal sections where I could just run and adapt to changing environment were really fun and in those I did not mind not having a checkpoint :)
You made a good game, I hope I was not too harsh <3

but still good game
Glad you had fun with the game, the speedrun-like jumping strategies are definitely something that I also enjoy.
Thanks for playing!
Also, a huge thank you to all the other people who already played our game and left comments ^^ greatly appreciated!

Its on the screenshot above. I got to that place and blue block turned on, I couldnt jump away and was spiked. Don't get me wrong please, was fun! :D

I really liked the design of the main character and the level design is great! Inventive and interesting to explore. If I would suggest one improvement, it's to the transition effect. It's quite intense and gets hard on the eyes. I guess the background overall could be more muted, to draw the attention to the foreground and bring it out.
I had fun playing!
check out my jam game!
Movement is a bit to slow for my taste, but I like art style, and level design with tutorials as a part of level.
I think the concept is pretty good, but the controls feel a little rough around the edges. A little move responsiveness needed here maybe.
Look into things like coyote time and jump buffers, and tune the player speed to try to give a nicer feel to the player controls.
The idea of platforms switching in an out on the timer is a suitable link to the theme. I would like to see more of that but giving you access to secret rooms etc.
I love the music and art style.
Liked the tutorial directly integrated at the begining of the game itself.
The character is a bit sluggy and the jump is hard to control. But I still had fun playing this game !
The main mechanic is great though and fits the theme. Level design is actually pretty solid for a jam game! A bit better visual feedback about the swap time approaching would have helped me to react a bit better.
But overall, great work!
I enjoyed the floaty feeling, though the spikes felt a bit fast but that's probably because I am *bad* at platformers.
Well done! :D
I love the sketch-styled cartoon character! The last level is soooo hard but I finally beat it. Yay!
Otherwise, the idea is *really* cool. I love the thought of a platformer/puzzle game where you switch between two worlds, nice one! The transition effect was also really good in my opinion.
Congrats on the good entry!
Well done.
Overall a solid entry! Great work!!
nice idea!wonderful game!
