Nice job! Game was a little slow until the aliens spawned, I think it would benefit a lot to spawn more sooner and keep the game action packed! Really fun once I mined a bunch and was zapping aliens.

I'm impressed at the quality of this game. My problem is that at first, I didn't know what to do once the enemies started flowing in. I didn't think I could hit them with my pickaxe (thankfully I played all the way up until that point again just to try again). Also, if I wanted to tab out of the game, I would go back the menu on accident, starting me over. I am very impressed though. The art and overall mood of the game is outstanding and I like the atmosphere! Great entry!

The game Feels very well to play. I'm quite amazed what you've been able to do in such a short time. I'm not quite sure what the point of building was or what the goal of the game is but still had me quite hooked there for a good while :-). Great job. Keep up the good work.

I really enjoyed hitting the asteroids, it was very satisfying. I did find it a bit hard to orient myself sometimes, perhaps having a planet or something in the distant could make it easier to orient your player? Despite this, the art and audio was great, nice game!

I really like the art style here, and flying around in space felt really smooth (once I got used to the controls).

But I agree with what others have said about it taking too long for the aliens to show up. The beginning of the game feels a little aimless -- it's not clear that anything else is going to happen, nor when it's going to happen. Adding a countdown that shows how long the player has to wait for the aliens would really help alleviate that feeling, I think, and instead create a feeling of time pressure.

I found it very difficult to navigate, remembering what direction was up and down was confusing because there isn't really up and down in space... Changing the controls so that up would be you characters current up vector instead of "world up" would probaly help the movement feel more natural. Other than that I found the game fun! I really liked the art. It feels really complete for a jam game! Good job.

** Thank you all very much!! I've took notes about the feedback and kept working yesterday in the game, i'll have an updated version "possibly for my own website", with more tiles and proper survival resource focus, i'm adding more astros like stars and planets which "ehm.. no spoilers lul". **

Much love everybody :two_hearts:

This was an ambitious game for a jam. Congratulations getting it his complete. The movement was a bit disorienting at first but I was able to get used to it.

Wonderful atmosphere, I love the combo of 2D and 3D!

Accidentally ending the game by pressing esc was a huge bummer! I just wanted to look at the controls but accidentally lost my progress, including a sweet laser gun that I got from the aliens I killed. On my 2nd run, I didn't get a gun :(

Very interesting 3-axis movement controls together with the mouse free-look, but it doesn't take too long to get used to. Quite some fun once you get your first gun too! I couldn't figure out how to place blocks in build mode (was I lacking resources? Or pressing the wrong keys?), but I still had fun. Very clean visuals too, well done.

Hoping you get to 20 reviews!

I like the art, and the execution of the 3D movement works well. I was ultimately unable to figure out what to do with the resources that were gathered, though. It would also have been nice to add a bit of a 'vacuum' when picking up resources, just as a convenience.
Good work!
