I really like the style and presentation on this one. The graphics and sound are all on point, and it looks great all together.

Wow, pretty cool idea, and I loved the atmosphere. A bit creepy, but not very horror. Had me jumping a bit the first time. Really nice how the camera jumps instead of following you constantly, it really sets up the jump scares. The graphics are amazing! The Twitch streamer idea is really cool, but I think it wasn't utilized to the full potential. She and the chat don't have anything interesting to say and the voice sound really breaks the atmosphere. But maybe that was intended and a neat critic of Twitch culture. I noticed that the monster will get stuck in scenery a lot of the times. Would definitely like to see a more polished version of this after the jam!

Looks and plays great. I really like the idea. Did not quite understand how it relates to the theme though. Nevertheless a great entry for sure. Keep up the great work.

Saw some updates for this on Twitter and thought this was one of your main games! Seriously impressive entry. Love where you put extra effort into things like the pre-stream and in-game credits to make the atmosphere really pop!

Also, I accidentally discovered a cheat key while trying to open a map...

Wow that's something new! I feel like not even touching the WASD to real all the hilarious comments she's receiving during the stream. Definitely deserves good rating in all the categories.

The monster appeared directly on top of my character and I nearly shat my pants

I loved the art and the idea of playing as a twitch streamer. I wish there was a way to actually interact with the chat. Sometimes she would say that "i think we got away" but the monster is still right on the screen. I definitely laughed out loud for some of the comments

The presentation was a nice twist on a classic horror game mechanic. The banter kept things feelings fresh I was searching for relics. Solid job

This is an awesome concept! Really fun dividing attention between the game and the comments.

Great pixel art and writing. Very impressive and neat how chat and the vtuber respond to what I do.

I think it would be improved if I had to engage with chat myself, so I needed to read comments to do well. I was also hoping being entertaining instead of "good" (like dying in funny ways) would make chat engaged.

Super cool prototype that I would love to see a V2 from! Great job.

Pretty nice game. But I think I missed a part of entertaining viewers. My avatar just chats by her own. I think the best part of the game is a timer for vendigo spawn. It plays tricky game with mind like you know exactly that something will happen in 10 seconds yet it raises tension because you don't know where it spawns. And sometimes it doesn't spawn at all. Love it.

Very good. I liked the idea of streaming. This can be improved. Too bad I couldn't collect all the relics. I'm sure there's some sort of ending or something like that :3

This game is so meta! Loved the sounds, especially the talking sounds kinda sounding like animal crossing. Also the "jump scare" sound and music was excellent. The graphics look also great!. The monster often spawned outside of view, and I had the feeling you could trick the monster out by standing near an room exit before the timer runs out, otherwise an amazing entry.

I killed myself (citri? the player?) a lot in a short amount of time. Would have loved if the chat or citri had acknowledged this ("lol, are you doing this on purpose?", "I'm pretty bad today, haha")

Those damned spikes ^^
Really nice concept, I like using the 10 seconds as a way to make us anticipate the jumpscare, which is both reassuring and scary because we're never sure. One this I'm not sure is if the wendigo is supposed to disapear after the 10 seconds because it sometimes just stopped chasing.
Very cool and beautiful game though !

Very cool. I had a similar idea of a horror game where you play as a streamer playing the game in the past, but never got around to making it. This is very well done for the time given. The sprite work is amazing.

Cool experience! I like the "game within a game" thing and the subtle criticism on the streaming culture. It was challenging but not too hard, I played throughout the entire game up to the grim ending...

Furthest I got was 6/7 relics and that is honestly a miracle considering I was just screaming the entire time. 5/5 wet my pants but beautiful presentation. Very charming game!

I got spooked, not a horror person myself, thought it would be less scary, but hey it invoked fear and fright in me as it should. Really neat concept and great execution, a tiny bit repetitive, but that also just means that I liked and like for it to be extended upon :joy:

Really fantastic game. So much (Orange)juice and polish! The actual game itself is fun and its addicting re-playing to get all the relics. My only complaint is that when the enemy is on screen it's easy to run into spikes that are off-screen and you can't see, which feels un-fair. The V-Tuber is a really great touch that adds a lot of character and it's fun to read her comments and the chat. Overall defiantly one of the best games here!

This horror game is awesome (Horror genre are not my favourite scares me WAY to easily hahaha)xD Love the comical relief that has been added to the game like a streamer playing the game such a fantastic addition to the game! :D Thank you for the wonderful experience (even though I did not complete horror scares me way to easy hahaha) xD

The concept is so cool. Adding more drama or items which can interact with danmaku will be much more fun. It's fun to notice that I can see my last crop in game, lol.

I loved this game!! The visuals are really pretty, and I loved the idea of playing as a streamer! The end was also a nice twist

My only complaint is that I'm not sure what made my viewers come and go but that's not that important

Making a vtuber game is cheating. Good use of sound, really spooked me the first time he popped up. Great concept and fantastic execution of the vtuber gimmick. Enjoyed it a lot! Citri a cute!

I remember seeing a post about this idea at the beginning of the jam, I'm glad to see the final version turned out so well. Game itself looks amazing! I would have expected controlling the vtuber more than just controlling the game but it was still quite fun, great entry!

The humor was certainly very good. But there were still straight problems with the spawn of the monster and the camera on it. I understand that from the point of view of directing, such a camera is very good, but if you run up, then only from memory you try to bypass the spikes and ideally it needs to be solved somehow). And the fact that the monster appears only at certain points created such situations that you just learned all the places where it appears - and it's not so scary anymore, but there were rooms in which it was sooooo difficult to get around it, but in general it was real, so okay. And I have only positive emotions left from the game, thank you.

Great game! Loved the graphics and audio. The idea of making a horror game with a person commenting on the game / talking to the chat the whole time was pretty neat. Unfortunately I couldn't get all the relics but the game was still really fun. Well done!

Probably the best game so far, for me! I love the creativity of this, I never would have expected to see something like it (:star:)! The art, sound design, dialogue, chat reactions and the actual Noirwood game all do the idea justice, to an incredible degree! I couldn't beat the game, but I was stuck on the last relic for maybe 7 minutes, so I was *reaaaaaally* close ()!

Fantastic job, superb submission; keep it up! 5/5 A++

I tried doing nothing and waited for the viewer count to go down, but it never went below 3. They're the real ones who are down to watch anything.

Cool game! I didn't think the 10 seconds theme was that prominent at first, but once I figured out the strategy of timing your screen transitions to either minimize the risk of the monster blocking your way or maximize jump scares for viewers, maintaining that balance became interesting and I was watching the clock constantly. I also thought I noticed the amount of time between the monster appearing and starting to move seemed to scale down based on the number of relics I had, in which case that was a clever way to ramp the tension!

The overall art and sound presentation was top notch, and I even thought the random dialog with chat was pretty good! The only things that I felt like like needed some tweaks were some of the artifact locations being a bit too difficult - either too narrow to get in and out with the monster chasing, and the monster being weirdly prone to spawning directly in the way - and a couple spots on the right side of the map where the monster really liked to spawn directly on top of you, guaranteeing a death if it started moving quickly. Both minor quibbles - this game is a serious accomplishment!

This was excellent, really creative, innovative idea. Graphics, sound design and gameplay is on point. The gameplay was genuinely tense and challenging. The dialogue was also good (although I wish there was more of it).I would really like to see more of this, please make more with this concept and character!

also the girl is pretty cute :0))))
