This arcade cabinet has a major malfunction!

Not really a "game", but a decent enough demonstration for a WarioWare style arcade minigame collection, intended to remix all of the arcade classics for you to jump, shoot, and fly your way to the almighty quarter, the only thing that can stop your game from timing out. You've got just 10 seconds.. will you continue, or is it game over?

Controls

SPACE to insert the first coin. WASD To control the Pac-Man type character. A&D To aim the Spaceship. Space to Shoot.

Goal

Grab a quarter to reset your timer, and the cycle begins with another game. There are only two half-baked games featured here, no real challenge or variety.

My thoughts.

I really like the idea of a minigame collection built from the blueprints of arcade classics. Injecting some fast-paced variety, and giving all of the games a single goal.. grab that quarter and keep the game in play. I may continue to work on this and make a proper minigame collection, if people seem interested in the idea.

This is also the first jam where I submitted a game that I worked on solo, that might actually be considered "finished" for a jam. Pretty proud of that. Of course, many cuts were made, but hey.. it runs!

Right on the theme, little stale though.

Really liked it! If you had more time it would be a good idea to add more games and make them harder

First of all, congrats on finishing solo! Fits the theme well and is something different from the usual fare.

You had a fantastic idea ! You should add more games and polish a little bit more those 2 with more procedural mechanics.

It makes me think of warioware games.
Good job overall !

A good concept, but clearly not enough content to make it replayable.

Clearly not a finished project, but your systems all work. Looked good, and didn't find any issues. Some transitions would be nice, and some arcadey music.

I dig the idea, but there's really just not much to do here. Pacman with one pellet and no ghosts isn't really Pacman. And the Asteroids game is the same every time, and there's no danger. I could see this being a lot of fun if it was fleshed out more, though.
