Chaos Pigeon by jabsatz

Humans and pidgeons are natural enemies. They move around in their cars, eating their fancy hot dogs and not sharing anything with their flying neighbours.
However, pidgeons have a secret weapon, and one of them has refined it to maximize efficiency: yes, this is a game about bird poop.
Fly around the city and cause chaos with your cloaca, who knows what unforseen consequences you might see?

The only thing that could have been better, is the menu. The colors were hard to distinguish and it felt a bit clumpy.
if you're interested, it's got 5 raycasts and a couple of square detection areas, but it could've probably been better if we had more time. the intersections also have a traffic light logic with a bunch of preset paths for the cars to _mostly_ not crash, and there's also way too much hasty fixes around the game, so I'm not 100% sure I could explain it entirely
I still have no idea how to "destroy the pacifists", though - and the timer for a round feels a little long.
Starting with a pigeon that can auto-aim was a good choice, makes it easy to immediately see what effects the poop has. If I had to make a tweak, I'd probably reduce the round length. Good overall!
Flying around feels pretty good, the movement here works.
My biggest problem is that the interaction between the bird and the city simulation is kind of boring. Which puts a dampener on everything because that's like the base idea of the game. It's pretty clear that you want to mess up cars, so the game is more about timing/aiming then like thinking. It's also kind of awkward to line up shots you want, although this is definitely part of the skill of the game. I don't think i was ever really able to "get in the mindset" of a pidgeon causing chaos. This game just feels like flying around and occasionally I hit a car which is useful. I feel like the game overall discourages moving around, which ideally would be part of the fun. The chain reaction events helped this problem but they didn't feel like enough
The pidgeon with auto aim was especially boring, the game was much more fun with the other birds.
The menu could use alternative ways to navigate. I initially tried to use mouse only.
Good job!
Here's my highest score (with the bomber corps):

There's a lot of randomness in weather you score well, based on cars causing their own accidents and fist fights. I recorded myself playing the game for even more feedback. Enjoy:

I know we were way in over our heads making all the AI for the cars, I'd love to keep improving it so these issues come up less frequently, I definitely agree that whenever there is an accident it should be because the player caused it
thanks for all the feedback!
The game was very funny, I loved that each unlockable bird was very different. But some things were difficult to detect, like the pacifist!
