That was one of my first idea for this jam, really happy to get the possibility to play it.
Really fun to play when the track switch to a new one.
The biggest issue are that hard computer are cheating you can't beat them !

this is great! The first time the track changed really caught me off guard, but after that it was really fun having to react to the changes in real-time. You did a really good job overlaying the next track layout in a way that makes it easy to see where you are and where you'll be going.

The concept has a lot of potential and is fun to play. Could just use a few more curve balls on the scene changes, that's where it really got interesting to me

The best LD51 game I've played so far. Wait, what did I play before this? It doesn't matter, because this makes those games forgettable! I'm not even into racing games, aside from Outrun, and I had a great time with this. I really hope this is expanded upon after the jam ends.

EDIT: I also love the Atari Jaguar-ish models. I miss the days when 3D models had single-digit or low double-digit polygons.

Well made game, great take on the theme, overall very very nice. I liked it a lot!

And it has a great variety! Impressed to see such rounded-up project in Compo.

This was a lot of fun, and a pretty innovative idea. Superimposing a new track was a new take on a classic racer. The controls felt good -- I'm not sure if drifting was an intentional aspect, but it sure felt like I could!

My only observation is that it _seemed_ like opponents got some sort of boost when the track changed, like they suddenly appeared further ahead of me. Whether that was due to my racing or the way you tracked position across the tracks, I'm not sure.

@hawkin Thank you! The boost you're talking about is due to how track switching works: if you were at 30% in the old track, you appear at 30% on the new track. So, if the new track is 2x longer than the old one, someone who was ahead of you is now 2x ahead. The opposite happens if the new track is shorter.

This game is awesome, i loved it! When I read the description, I was interested how the game was going to work and I was really nicely surprised as to how well it was implemented. The graphics are great and I love the customization options, had a really fun time messing around with 50 racers. Only issue I had was that the hard mode racers felt like they went way faster than my car :(

@dollcoded Thanks for your kind feedback! You are right, hard mode simply makes the AI 10% faster, or something like that. Didn't have enough time to balance and/or come up with a better way to make them stronger :(

I feel like I could really like this game but I got a bit motion sick (not your fault). The changing track was certainly an interesting way to use the theme.
