Gobblin' Goblin!

Notably not in a world in the sky, where my imagination was. I managed to make a cute little monster though. Arrows to move and jump. Gobble up them butterflies and bunnies, and don't fall off the edge, or let the screen get too far ahead of you.

Not finished obviously. He was supposed to be in a forest. Or at the very least have clouds and rocks to keep him company. I spent too much time finishing my game engine though. Next time I will be in much better shape to start, thanks in a large part to the work I did here in the past two days.

Thanks for playing!

The jumping is really difficult because of the high gravity and really fast jump acceleration. Other than that nice game.

Nice game. Had a laugh when I jumped onto a bunny and went flying off the ledge. Jumping is a bit tought on some of the gaps to be sure. fun though.

I liked the physics on the jump.

While I did have some fun with this game, I found the jump to be way to twitchy and heavy. The character moves up too fast and down too fast IMO, limiting the utility of the jump drastically. I had trouble jumping over pits only 2 or 3 tiles wide, and the jump REALLY wasn't fun when using it to cross large pits with 1 tile wide platforms. The jump, however, is clearly the game's bigest flaw. If you keep working on it, I say make the jump less awkward, and add some more collectables and environments, as just moths and sheep get boring after a while.

You don't have much control while jumping, but it was fun.

Really retro, but the gravity and jumping make the game overly hard, i think.

Thanks for the comments people. The jumps are pretty bad I guess. I had though of putting in Mario jumps that go higher the longer you hold, but I didn't get around to it as well as other things. I am really pleased with with the comments.

Simple but fun. It keeps you playing trying to see how far you go.

I like that the bunnies are bouncy, the jumping feels a little weird though. Just that it's so high but so short at the same time.

A fun and simple game with good graphics and music.
Althoug, jumping is really akward and the sliding makes it really hard to stay on those tiny platforms.

Leave the bunnies alone.. lol. Simple platformer. but a bit hard. Good job submitting your entry.

Sorta like an endless runner crossed with the scrolling levels from Mario. I like it!

Jumping and gravity must be improved, but the game is cool
