ICEBERG ISLAND by d j o v i c

made by d j o v i c for Ludum Dare 51 (JAM)

In 2030, a small robot is sent to probe the state of the North Pole glaciers. However, during his mission, he finds himself in the middle of an ice floe, which is cracking piece by piece to sink into the depths of the frozen waters. He transmits the little information he has been able to obtain about the situation to his base, and waits for instructions: "Fractured ice floe - 10 seconds between each separated piece - need reinforcements." Immediately, you, behind your screen, take in hand the manual control of the robot in order to ensure its survival while the rescue team comes to help it. Do your best!

graphics are nice, but it seems to have some little collision boxes issues, and the camera often gets buggy on crystals. Well done though!

For a first jam, awesome, you got a game out! I would like to have control of the camera as I am playing but again its a game and it is playable!

As people already said, there are some collision problems and manual control over the camera would be nice. But good job getting the game done in time!

It is a great idea. Just that the movement doesn't seem to work properly. I can't seem to play more then the 3rd break. At some point I actually moved over the wall where the whole land turned clockwise lol. But good job anyways

Nicely done! Some indicators for what pieces are about to break would've been nice (or maybe not knowing was part of the game), then again you can't include everything in such a short amount of time. It's a great PoC!

Thanks for playing and to yours comments @sanemsky and @mcayn !! Unfortunately we ran out of time wth everynone's constraints to be able to add more things to the gameplay :/ But thanks for the ideas ;)

Cool idea, to the point, it creates really tense moments when the ice falls through and I think that from the point of view of game design this is a cool idea, I like this game :)
