I really like your interpretation of the theme!

The graphics look great, and I really like the reload animation. If only all shooter games were as accurate as this...
The game has a lot of juice as well.
My only problem is that the ten seconds can feel like a bit much so there's a lot of waiting around. I think it could be cool if there were other ways to kill the redcoats besides shooting that were maybe a bit harder. But overall, still a great game that was really fun!

great idea and presentation hurt by the smooth follow camera. I tried level 3 a bunch, but when you need to move to survive, not being able to see in the direction you are moving is really frustrating. Gameplay was functional and entertaining otherwise!

This is great! Well done! I love how the AI will seek cover after firing. This is a lot of fun!

Great job, very satisfying to fire the gun. It felt a bit slow to me at level 3/4 because of how many enemies there were. Fun overall though & love their British voices!

This was a ton of fun to play! I really liked all of the sounds and how it played. I could play this forever if I wanted to. It got really hard but still was quite fun! Great job!

what a great entry!! It shows how frustrating must have been having to load your gun back in the day xD
great interpretation of the theme, and its actually FUN which is important to say the least when it comes to games. I'd like to highlight the animations, very nicely done!

Nice game! Unique implementation of the theme. Though 10 seconds to reload may be a bit of a hassle at times, I like that it makes an otherwise pretty fast-paced game a lot more strategic.
Great work!

The biggest drawback of this game is the disposal of the theme, and it's pretty funny. :smirk: Just waiting for reload get boring quite fast, someone mentioned that it would be nice to have some other ways to kill oponents, and that would be a good direction. Bayonet, team kills and so on...

Overall cool little game for COMPO.

Loved the game! Great use of the theme. The graphics and dialogues were funny! While it might be interesting to have more stuff to do during reloads, I think it was tense enough trying not to die and keeping count of enemies which can shoot you. I kind of like the slower and tactical pace instead of something more action oriented. Great job! Oh and the enemies seemed surprisingly smart!

Haha love this concept. The animations and sound design are also top notch. The only nitpick I have is the camera lookahead felt a little slow, sometimes I'd be walking close to the edge of the screen and a soldier appears without having time to react. Super polished compo entry!

USA! USA! USA!

this is hilarious, I do wish it was easier to see the reload animation, especially since you are dodging around so fast that it makes it that much harder to see. The weakest part is the music; would have been cool to have some revolutionary war tunes (I need that pennywhistle, stat).

Very polished and nice. The presentation was solid and the gameplay was dificult but fun. I liked your take on the theme and how you managed to keep the game mechanics simple but still allow for a lot of skill and strategy. I found taking it slow and sticking to cover to work best for me, but it was still very challenging

Yep. This project is worth playing to the end. Reloading is long, but there's so much running to do in the meanwhile.
Chasing squads are so scary and dangerous. Even if they're armed only with the muskets. Like!

Super fun game !! The reload time is quite long but that's pretty fun to just run and dash while reloading, good job !

I really like the game. Especially the comments of the british soldiers.

It is very polished. I honestly have nothing to comment. It was just a good experience.

The game is fun but it's very hard to move around with an AZERTY keyboard.

This is my favourite games of the ones I've played so far. Historical accuracy, those great reload animations, the tension of every shot counting and the British voice lines are all amazing. You really have to make sure your shot hits even while you're dodging around countless enemy bullets because otherwise it's another long ten second wait. The difficulty did ramp a bit quickly for me though and having quite poor reflexes I would have appreciated either the enemies having a bit less range or having a bit longer viewrange myself so that I don't have to dodge bullets from enemies I couldn't see, beating level 3 took me many many tries and while I'm working on level 4 i've probably got a bit to go on completing that one. :)
