WeaponSwitcher by Rialgar
If you play the embedded version, win and loose messages will not show, because I was lazy and used window.alert, so the game will just restart after the respective animation finished.
A shoot-em-up/defense game where your weapon switches every ten seconds. I originally planned for adding more weapons, but got dstracted by adding juice :).
Controls
- Mouse to aim/shoot
Library/Engine

The subtle screen shake is great, and the "shattering" effect is awesome as well!
EDIT: The shockwave timer is telegraphed as well, oops!
The simple graphics fit really well for the gameplay and I especially liked the faded out remains of enemies - it gave a great sense of progress (in addition to the green blob filling the turret).
Another great thing about your game for me was the tutorial, because it's placed really naturally inside the first round and isn't a textbox somewhere (nothing wrong with that, it's just nice to see something different ^^).
Solid game, well done!
Graphics and lingering broken enemies are a nice touch.
You did a lot with circles and triangles here. The enemies were pretty varied, and I can strategize based on the size + type of circle. That's really well done. The player's cracks to indicate lives were a nice touch. The weapon heat vs enemies coming were well balanced. There's a lot of strategy required to beat this, balancing between the enemy proximity and the tools at your disposal. On top of looking cool, the enemy remains show a history of how I played. I see how far away I chose to kill the enemies, and I used that to tweak my playstyle to eventually beat the game. Well done.
The most impressive thing is that you actually made all this using plain javascript.
