Embedded WebGL seems buggy inside ldjam.cam but you can try the game from itch.io here: https://nenechico.itch.io/drunkardalien
The execution unfortunately didn't make it for me. With that being said, I loathe platformers so I'm not the target audience anyways and so anything I say should be taken with grains of salt.
The camera perspective shifts, in my opinion, made the game unplayable. There are so many views where you just can't see what is happening in a way that makes you unable to respond.
Then there are the reloads that put you below a platform.
Making things work with neat ideas in game jams is HARD cause of the time constraints and this would be a hefty project to try to tackle.
The sounds were great, everything was incredibly smooth which felt really nice... it's just that I died way too fast due to things I couldn't control.
Thank you though for the experience, even if I hate platformers I genuinely enjoyed how smooth everything felt.
Bizarrely dystopian.
Camera feels a bit weird tho.
Good job !
