I needed some time to figure out that I had to click on the plants before being able to use the buttons. Maybe hiding the buttons and having an indicator on your plants could work?\n\nIt was genuinely fun though once I understood how to play! I couldn't get past the lawnmower but it was fun trying. I really liked the boss music! I like the concept of a turn-based fight that you impact indirectly.\n\nThe art is cool, as is the soundtrack + SFX.\n\nI'd probably recommend looking at ways you could improve usability for future projects- things like an indicator as to which plant you currently have selected and keybindings to switch plants and use abilities would have been nice QoL improvements. Possibly also worth adding a delay before the first attack happens? The lawnmower level can be pretty cruel if it 2-shots on of your plants before you even know what's going on.\n\nI hope you keep on making more games! :)","format":"md","likes":1,"spam":"N"},{"id":880684,"author_name":"Lorwon","author_uid":"lorwon","epoch":1665261501,"text":"The game is great but really hard !
