Loading Lives by Krapouto

[raw]
made by Krapouto for Ludum Dare 51 (JAM)

An amazing life simulation game with a never ending loading screen. You can explore the cycle of life through a fun and dynamic game.

Just kidding, it's just a simple runner game during a loading screen. You can explore six worlds every ten seconds. But it is really about life. Please, play it, it's fun, I swear. And there's a fantastic suprise at the end.

Fun gameplay. You managed to make different levels in game jam timeframe, which is amazing. Finishing the takes you to blue screen, which is hilarious. My 2 cents on that would be if you can add the error sound on blue screen, that would make it more believable

Very fun game with comfortable graphics. The style of different levels and what the player is driving give a sense that we are passing through and going back to different stages of life, which creates a good mood, and I love this kind of metaphor. The restart of the level without a transition is a bit abrupt but it's okay when I get used to it. Overall it was a good trip and I did feel there's something the game want to tell!

(My region needs a VPN to visit YouTube, so it took me a while to install related tool on my mobile phone and use the phone to scan the bluescreen UR code. I bet you want to see my face when I find out what this fantastic surprise actually is 0_0)

Awesome Game. Enjoyed the overall concept and gameplay. really enjoyed the 10 seconds factor you implemented in the game. A little more work from the SFX sides would have done wonder. To be honest, my opinion might ne a little biased here, cause I am a fan of these kind of games but still given the fact it was a jam, Good job and great efforts, keep it up. Please do check out my submission as well.

Great amount of good looking models, the gameplay is simple, but done well, with a quite amount of variety. Good entry!
