1,2,3 Let's go!
Join the ultimate dancing contest of the robot underworld! Play your dancing moves in the best order, build up combos and show them your moves.

You have 10 seconds for your turn: play cards, draw, deal damages and block your foe attacks. At the end of your turn, every card, including your hand and your discard pile, is shuffled into a new deck.
Every card has a color (Copper, Gold and Cobalt). Play three cards with the same color and get an additionnal effect. - Copper : Deal 2 - Gold : Draw 2 - Cobalt : Block 1

Take care of your opponent's dance and refine your strategy to outperform it. Each time you beat a dancer, you steal its move and get new cards for your journey.

You can see your card collection from the main menu in order to prepare yourself for the duels.

You now know everything, get into the circle and get the glory you deserve.

For me the 10-second timer put a stop to most tactical thinking and I ended up spamming same color cards without reading.
But maybe this is a limitation of the jam version. In a full game the player would have more time to learn the cards.
Enjoyed it very much, lots of content!
That said, the pixel art is really nice, the controls felt smooth, and the music works well. Nice work!
Gameplay side, I'm not that convinced : It's kinda hard to read the cards effects in less than 10 seconds before playing, it makes me want to play randomly and just spam all of my cards and just try to match the 3 colors to have the additional effect, and it will works as well which doesn't requires me to use strategy at all.
I also think the game lacks a little bit of juice, like some stretch animations on the card you draw / use. Same for the dance moves that could have benefited from juicy particles and more shiny lights to make them feel more impactful.
Also music choosen excellent)
It could be good if you'll add link a link to the download, because in HTML version I can't read cards description before selecting and dragging.
Also It is really hard to read card description in 10 seconds.
I've tried to put as many card as I can in my turn and it worked) So maybe it would be a good Idea to add some action points to control the quantity of cards that player can play.
But still really good game, I have a lot of fun playing with it!)
Other than that, the world, characters and atmosphere is absolutely superb, great job.
Audio and graphics were nice
My only issue with the game is that since it only gives me 10 seconds i had no time to read the cards, i have no idea what they did based on the color since i didn't remember what each color did, so i just spammed cards based on the color and it worked out every time.
I can see some potential in this to be a fast paced card game roguelike
It's enjoyable to play very long combo's sometimes.
However it's hard to read through the card descriptions in 10 seconds or identify them by the poses on the cards.
Overall a good game
Would love to see the future of the project.
Good job
I love how you created an urgency of deciding what dance moves to perform with a limited time! It kinda feels like what a real dance contestant goes through but with generated commands for robots!
Really cool!
I couldnt begin to remotely explain to someone how it works however. I found a real disconnect between what i was doing wiht the cards and what was happening in the fight. It was unclear what the cards actually did and how the opponent was doing their moves.
I played through and beat every opponent by playing all of the cards starting with doing 3 of the same color each time. I was practically invincible and i crushed the enemies but again i have no idea how or why i did so well.
The visuals are very impressive and thematic and having each card pose be played by the character was a real treat to see! I started playing cards just to see the character do it.
I was surprised there were multiple different opponents as well as unlocking more cards as i progressed.
If i had any sense of how the cards work this would have been a big draw for me to continue.
Overall very impressive what you were able to get done and it seems you had an innovative idea for the gameplay but struggled to communicate it (which is always difficult in a Jam even when its super simple!)
Well done!
I didn't feel like I could decide of winning or losing, mindless spam is encouraged quite a bit ha ha
