It seemed a little strange to me that you keep your money, but not your upgrades when you transition between levels?
I guess the player would get too overpowered too quickly if they kept their upgrades.
Sometimes you couldn't hit the enemy at the very top/bottom if they were really close to you, so I always went for those first and saved the middle for last.
The pixels turning 3D(2.5D?) when they break away from the enemy was an amazing effect and looks great! Really nice job.
Great art, Awesome Music, satisfying gameplay .
Upgrading between rounds was a great way to push "ok one more round". I was really surprised how many levels there were. Though the first round of them was always a wash, waiting to spend your money from the previous level. Maybe have upgrades on the next round button too.
Breaking the pixels into cubes was a nice mechanic . I wish your truck had the same behavior when you lost .
The game felt really polished and aside from an occasional gunfire animation when I couldn't fire the art style worked really well together
I could see this becoming a great mobile release . Amazing work
I had to see if there's an end -- SPOILER: It ends after the pumpkin. Your car is just ... there, and doesn't shoot
PS. We just didn't add the final scene because of the deadline
I really like how you looped the game with core mechanics. Voxel effects and music are awesome too.
During the play, I got a few minor bugs like once I got destroyed by 2 small invisible cubes, and button SFX is always the same regardless of whether you can buy an upgrade or not.
But these things don't affect the overall impression of the game. Keep going!
Still good game.:D
