Looked so promising that I downloaded it, although I really only rate games that also run in the browser. I like the style. And it's halfway playable. I first had problems getting out of the tank at the beginning. Pretty cool for a jam game. Thumbs up.

Looks really cool! unfortunately I can't rate graphics as it doesn't seem they were made within the jam tome, pretty fun and interesting concept regardless!

@wobbleblocks All content was made for this jam specifically. 1 person fully on graphics. Although you saying that we will take as a compliment! @chillertyp Yes first hurdle is to escape the pod with right click once the Overload is flashing to teleport out.

Look nice! but the input lag is quite large and it makes shooting difficult, it is very evident when you compare the cursor moving speed with the start menu. My gpu is gtx1050, so maybe it's just my low spec PC problem.
The art is great! I love sci-fi settings.
Also the gameplay is also great. The count down force you to teleport and encourages player to use this ability wisely.

@psalms77 Not sure on the input lag, there is a delay between where you aim and your character having to rotate to that direction as it is not instant. But the game seems to run smoothly on my 1060. It could be a 1050 issue and the fact we used UE5 for this instead of UE4. Sorry to hear that regardless and glad you liked the mechanic!

Impressive for a gamejam game, although could use some more polishing.

@psalms77 @iogannes Yes the game doesn't run well if your card doesn't support Lumen lighting. I have uploaded a version of the game without any lumen features on so it will run smooth for you. Technically outside the jam time but youll be be able to play it as its just a config change in the games folder.

Biggest problem i had with the game is that its too hard, one of the reasons being enemy health, player turning 1 degree per second and the accuracy. Bullets did not go where i aimed them to, i dont mean bullet spread, the character was not aiming where my mouse was. Good concept but could do some improvement.
Personaly i think the game is polished well enough, i didnt have any lag issues, my session was smooth.

It looks very cool. I liked it, although there were problems with the controls at the beginning. Overall, it will be a good game

The game is very incomprehensible, but an interesting idea in UE is to make the game go from above. And there is a question: how it was necessary to take a weapon, I squeezed all the buttons, I couldn’t take it.

I for one didn't have any performance issues, but I did have trouble getting my character to land shots where I was aiming. I also found that the melee attack was fairly awkward to use, although it was a one hit kill when it did land. It feels very unresponsive and inconsistent. In the end I found it was easier to use the teleporter to kill people, and just generally lead the guards on a merry chase.

Well, I say it was a merry chase. I knew full well I was dead with no checkpoints since the teleport isn't foolproof. There were a few tense moments for me when I teleported into an enemies face without killing them, or discovered there were more enemies than I was expecting at my destination. Certainly made trying to hold on while my teleport recharged more fun. Honestly, because of that, I'm tempted to say the game might just barely be better if you didn't have guns at all.

All that said, I see the potential here. Nice work.

Great concept and visual! Holding mouse botton did not feel suitable for some weapons in my opinion.

Fantastic entry. I am a bit suspicious about whether or not the artwork was made during the jam, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt and rate it highly. Would love to know the process used to create the artwork!

I found it difficult to aim precisely.

@alchemic
yes there's a mistake with the aiming causing it to be off, unfortunately it was too late to fix when we realised the problem. here's the process for making the assets if you're interested: https://speedemon.artstation.com/projects/YK0YYK

@speed-demon Thanks for posting the process! My apologies for doubting. Still an incredible amount of skill on display! Definitely deserves higher ratings in graphics.
