This is a small game about protests, you need to control the number of protesters within a specified time, otherwise the protesters will win.

Every 10 seconds, a random protester event occurs.

You need to meet the needs of protesters with limited resources to control the number of protesters.

Transparent people are neutral people, they will not be counted as protesters.

The needs of ordinary people are usually relatively simple. Failure to meet the demands of leaders will influence neutrals and increase the number of protesters.

If no gang members are encountered, they will be randomly summoned. New protesters arrive.

Leaders will wear headscarves, while gang members will wear face coverings.

The resources you have are money, passports, force and persuasion.

Government and special events will provide you with new resources from time to time, but how to allocate resources to stop this protest is something you should consider!

What exactly is justice? Maybe each of us already has the answer in our hearts.

I think it was hard to make this game.
Although still can not play it, already feel some kind of deep meaning in it.

Love the art and the music. The theme is super cool, too. It's somehow ironic that everyone can be shut by paying the right price  I wish the interaction can be simplified by showing the button on mouse hover so that I don't have to click the right mouse button, tho. Great job as I know you guys started late in this Jam. The outcome is quite impressive!

I think you had the same issue I had. I had a small bug (when you put in a joypad it crashes, so no one could play it, I have fixed now, but missed out so far on feedback). Your link does not work for some reason, please fix it as would love to play it.

5/5 graphics, I love it! The game feels good, although it sometime gets hard to understand everything that's going on. Nice entry tho, good job!

Interesting game and concept. One issue(?) I found is that there are people who are never satisfied and don't go away. Guess maybe this is a parallel to real world lol )

Great graphics and interesting setting but I found gameplay too random and repetative

Clever idea for the theme and sweet graphics. The right/left click controls are a bit annoying but I think it is intended to force the player to remember the demands of the protesters. Overall a nice game. Good job

i like the art style and UI, but could not understand how to get the resources except for just waiting for them

Nice graphic. A smart way to suit the theme. But the game mechanic is too randomized and lacks guidance. It's longer than expected for a run.

Very interesting concept and with a great visual style! The unselecting bit felt unnecesary, maybe there is a reason, but I don't see why I can't just click on someone and they stay selected until I click on someone else. The idea is interesting but you being distributed the resources randomly felt like there wasn't much control and most of the time you only had enough resources to accomplish one protestor's request so there wasn't much thinking either. If it was possible for you to control in some way the resources you got I think it would have been much better, maybe either with some very short mini-game or with requests for resources that would be granted once you accomplish certain tasks. It seems like the different type of protestors act in slighlty different ways. When selecting a protestor it would be nice to see with an orange text box or sth similar, what kind they are and also what special thing for that specific kind of protestor.

Overall, really nice idea and lovely art, with a bit of iterations I can see it becoming quite fun!

love the artstyle, really well put together, and the sound and music was both excellent chosen as well :)

The gameplay was a bit frustrating since I just ended up with zero money and passports and force, while I had like 15 persuasions XD It took 11 days for the government to win. I like how the mechanics show the difficulty of handling protests, they mostly don't want persuasion but actual materials (like money or passports) or they will react to force. I feel like a more fleshed out game, would react differently to what you gave. Like if you used a lot of force, then later more people would show up and so on. Really interesting concept :)

This is a neat little game! I loved the graphics style and the general concept, managed to get to the 10 days and eliminated 12 protestors. Only frustration was being unable to influence which resources turned up: I kept getting money, but none of the protestors wanted money.

Overall, very well done!

I liked the concept of the game. The art and sound design were also amazing. Top score for those categories!

It just felt like the game was completely out of my control. I couldn't find any way to manipulate what resources I was getting, so there wasn't much I could do most of the time.

I think I mistakenly got the "Government win" screen even though I only lasted 9 days, but I could be wrong.

I also wish I didn't have to right click to deselect a character, but I'm sure that was because of time constraints. You also left the `LD51_BurstDebugInformation_DoNotShip` folder in the zip file. I wish it was a normal zip file (it's more convenient for me), but I already had 7zip installed, so that wasn't a huge deal.

Overall, great art and sound design, just some more polishing and more ways to interact were needed.

Hi guys, cool entry actually, especially likes the art style - it's rather minimalistic and simple but really cool from game mood perspective. What was bothering me is why some protestors are staying after I paying them off, but I guess there is some mechanic behind without enough feedback to the user. Anyway a good nice, nice job!
