Final Bastion is an interesting take on the Base Defense genre. Gameplay is based around generating population, and allocating said population to different towers to strategically build your defenses.

Survive for as long as you can.

Wow, so fun! I love the graphic style. I didn't understand the boulders... are they random?

Base Defense games are one of my favorite genres! This was a good job! Definitely difficult, but felt fair. The screen shake effect was a little disorienting at times, especially when trying to place a building. but overall, Good Job!

@comicsans Yes, the boulders are random. It both fits with the theme of every 10 seconds, as well as it's a way to where sometimes they'll clear out a giant pack of enemies for you, sometimes they'll absolutely wreck your towers.

More balancing and tweaking is needed, but we're quite happy with where the project is for a weekend game jam.

Tower defense fits really well with the theme! Boulders tho, kinda like the random crits from TF2

@infecsean I'm a bit biased as I made the meatball, but it probably does need toned down. It helps break up the pace of the game, as throughout development repair hubs were quite strong.

Really awesome game, what a time sinker.
I think ill come back to it to play it more in the future.
How to expand your territory was not clear to me.
Suggestions:
- diff settings like damage and option to deactivate boulders.
- more content overall and a slower difficulty curve

Made it to wave 17 and quite enjoyed it. We also made a TD game so I totally understand how the theme works here. It gets quite difficult quite quickly which is totally fine.
Love the art style and the background music. Good job!

Loved it. I found the jerking to be a little overly aggressive but I love how it contributed to the feel.

Nice touch with the pixel-style shader to give the game a neat look. Classic Tower Defense -- I felt comfortable and powerful and like "oh man so easy" and then the next wave taught me another lesson in hubris! Great job.

Nice little game, liked the pixel graphics. The screen shake was a bit too much for my taste at times.
