  • "What if instead of changing rules of a game every 10 seconds we will just switch the game every time?"
  • "..."
  • "Will you program it for me? <3"
  • "..."

A short game of 6 even shorter games which switch every 10 seconds raising difficulty each time. There is no ending to this game - go as far as you want and like!

Controlled with Mouse only!

Some more confusing gameplay mechanics:

CARD GAME - you're supposed to beat cards from hand (bottom of screen) to the cards on the table (middle of screen). You can do this by grabbing a card from hand, hovering it over on-table card and then release. In order to beat cards they have to be of same suit and your card needs to be higher value. Also there is master suit (shown in top-right corner, under the pack) which will beat any other suit not matter the value. You can grab new cards from pack on the right.

ARCHER GAME (with TROJAN horses) - you're supposed to shoot trojan horses. You can shoot the wheel for 10xdamage. How you use the bow is you click anywhere on the screen and start dragging the mouse in the opposite direction from where you want to shoot (like you do with a bow - you drag the string in opposite direction from shooting direction) and then release the mouse.

We didn't have time to add some sort of arrow (no pun intended) which would explain this mechanic visually, but you can see on archer how he drags arrow back. Also there is a bug that if you try to click first on trojan horse itself it will not register.

NB! Fullscreen on monitor of not 16:9 will have edges of game cut out.

P.S. The latest version (30 min late to LD submission deadline) has fixed aspect ration which took time to figure out how to fix. Aspect ratio still breaks in fullscreen, but at least it's not always broken... First submission is available for download.Alert.pngArcanoid.pngBalance.pngCabbage.pngCard.pngTrojan.png

Highly enjoyed this game (my cabbages!)! I love the idea of having 6 games in one. (did find the card part a bit difficult to figure out while in rush mode, but the graphics and sound design were good and it invoked the best parts of games like wario ware)

I enjoyed this a lot. I love how we came up with a very similar idea to eachother. You know what they say, great minds think alike.

All the minigames were fun and intuitive and the music was nice. Some extra minigames would've been amazing but I can appreciate how time consuming they are to implement.

Great job - no small feat to implement a bunch of independent games!

Clever idea, I didn't read the synopsis so the game switching came as a super surprise. Also, I laughed at seeing the Cabbage man.

I wish it was easier to figure out how to do the card game but the rest were fun. I couldn't stop laughing at the guy catching the cabbages!

Awesome game, simple but fun minigames with simple but beautiful art and music.

Fun series of differing mini games, as others have mentioned, cabbageman got a chuckle. Can you win? I got to level 6 before giving up.

I think this idea is pretty much perfect for the theme of this jam. Having a ten-second Warioware style game is a really great idea. The execution was pretty good too, I especially liked the cabbage minigame. Well done.

@elephantlung No, you can't really win :) Levels obviously get harder with each level. You go as far as you want and like the game so we appreciate however much you decided to play!

@jadedresearcher @sean-esopenko Good point about cards game. It was created with a card game Durak in mind which is the most popular card game in Russia and post-soviet countries. Not having this card game in mind makes it hard to understand, I agree.

I added an explanation for it in the description for future players so it might help somebody else. Might check it out and see if it explains the game well enough :)

Thank you for your feedback!

With the explanation of the card minigame added was a 10/10 game.

Love warioware style games. Had some trouble figuring out how to shoot the arrow and play the card game, but the other mini games were a ton of fun!

Fun WarioWare style game! Though I do wish you had more lives, so you can afford to mess a couple up and figure out how that archery game works. (I would either aim straight up or the arrow would fall limply to the ground.)

As soon as I saw the first screenshot I thought I was going to love this. And I was right!

The error screens are infuriating :)
More games like the balancing girl and the guy who catches the cabbages would be a great addition!
Great idea for the theme

Love the personality in the cabbage-catching minigame and the balancing minigame- those two are definitely my favorites! I like how the music changes as well between the different games, and the inclusion of a button to straight-up start at max difficulty is really nice. I agree with others that the card minigame and archery game are a little difficult to understand/control, but outside of that I really appreciate the effort that went into each of these micro-games. Well done!

This theme was tailor made for a wario-ware style game. This is the first one I've seen to give feedback for, and it's really well done! I liked the variety of the games. I really struggled with the controls for the archery game, never quite figured out how it wanted me to use the mouse.

Fun set of mini games, I think I liked the cabbage catching one the most because of the guy's face. Got all the way to max level and enjoyed it all! Great work!

Great implementation of the theme, enjoyed the minigames. The card game took a minute to get & rest of the games felt familiar / reminded me of the Wii rhythm games for some reason  Great entry overall.

Congratulations on the game, at first I thought about doing something similar, but when I went back to the previous game it continued where it left off, but then it would be difficult to balance the styles of games, your idea was very good, a big hug.

This was actually the second or third game with this concept I have played in this jam. Switching a mini game every 10s. Nice idea. I love how you also change the music style with each mini game, while keeping the melody. Very clever.
