Nice graphics, made me play it instantly. And these leegs. So cool!

But didn't find a good fit for the theme

What fun game. The walk animation, the sticky feet, the stretchy legs. Everything feels so funny and nicely polished.

Graphics, audio, and gameplay are all great!

Doesn't feel particularly innovative or with a strong use of the theme though...

Kudos to a well executed game!

It plays smoothly and feels really good, it just doesn't really have a theme connection. The game jus begs to get rid of the 10 seconds thing to become a fun, cute little tennis simulator that it is. :) Great job anyway!

Loved the procedural legs! The game play was fun and took me only one game to figure out how to play. This theme was hard and to be honest it felt stuck in to meet the theme. The graphics were cool and the ball physics where great and easy controllable. Good job.

I'm not feeling the theme very strongly on this game, but I don't care because this is extremely fun and well-polished. Everything is great, but my main complaint is ... I want more content! A truly great experience.

i loved that the whole place was shifting while player moves, refreshing mini game, would be such a cool game for 2 player :O

Fun and stylish looking game. It's very entertaining to desperately try and position you clumsy character to hit the ball

I played this one on stream last night! unfortunately the VOD got muted, so no link :(

this game was amazing. for someone who doesn't claim to know all the rules of tennis, you sure nailed the feel a tennis game should have!

I love the audio and visuals - the mood is perfect.

The only thing I'm left with to criticize is the tie in with the theme - it felt pretty secondary to the gameplay, and at times I hardly noticed it was speeding up

ignoring the theme, though, I loved this game!

Cool foot animation and nice sound. It was good time playing, thought i didn't notice a real speed change each 10s.

I liked the game, but I could control the ball, to redirect to where I want.

Really cool art style, and love the silly legs. The camera rotation is well done and really adds to the experience. Well done!

Cool little game an it is much fun to play. The leg movement is so charming.
The game looks good, sounds good, the controls feel good - very nice overall experience.

I love the top-down "3D" and naturally the legs. I found it hard to direct the ball... But I think I'm just bad. Great game!

The art style is really unique and effective. The sounds, especially the "YEAH" when you win a game is really entertaining.

I didn't saw at first that they were multiple enemies. That last one was pretty challenging.

Loved the game. Good job !

It's a cute game, although I wish there was a bit more to it. The graphics, the legs, the overall design is nice and silly. The gameplay is quite intuitive but I don't know if it is particularly skill-based. With more ways to actually influence the way to ball goes etc this would make for a really fun 1v1 (local) multiplayer game.

Great work! I really enjoyed the challenge. I wasn't a fan of the movement speed but I also know it fits the design of the game. Love the art style and the background cheers were a great touch!

Always love a good little tennis game. It reminds me of mario tennis on GBC. I appreciate the fact that you made 3 different opponents.

It's quite hard at first, but there's a real learning curve, and it's possible to learn how to win, and that's good.

I would really like to see an expended version of this tiny game.

I love how dynamic the camera is on this (and, of course, how silly the legs are)

It was very dynamic and beautiful! Ideally, it would be cool if different characters had different AI, but I already want too much within the jam, huh). In general, it was fun to play this interpretation of tennis.

Yeah, I really don't get the purpose of the ten seconds speed-up, I saw no changes to the game with it.

this is really charming
I think I still did not master hitting the ball when it is jumping in place

@javi7 I used the Godot engine. If you're curious about the art style, I combined stacked sprites with some procedural drawing of the legs.

I love this kind of arcade tennnis games. Maybe a full game would need some kind of dash/jump to reach difficult balls, volleys and such, but as a jam game it's pretty solid! Nice.

So fun to play! Every now and then between plays of other jam games I come back to this one for a round :)

The camera rotation when you move is a nice touch. And of course the stepping around :)

It's a lot of fun ! and a lot of funk too :D I love the way you skil progress on this game : I'm still unable to explain how I can choose the ball direction but I somehow have a better control over it after 5+ games. The leg engine is fun, but I think you could improve it by tweening leg position with a y jump to simulate steps. congrats for the great entry !

Fun, goofy, and packed with deceptively simple but completely ingenious sound design. Took me a surprising amount of time to get to grips with the relatively simple mechanics, but once I did it was very satisfying.

Was watching one of your videos on youtube, checked out your games on itch and to my surprise you had a submission for the current ludum dare, which I of course had to play immediately. Love the aesthetic, difinitely wanna try doing sth in a similar style one day. The game itself is very fun, I wanted to play multiple rounds. Not really sure if the different opponents were different in any way besides their appearance. I initially thought they'd have different AI but if they do I couldn't really tell from playing against them. Everything about the game in general is great, the only thing lacking I think is a nice connection with the theme. The speed up just didn't feel significant enough. Maybe if the ball changed in some way during the different speeds, not sure really :/

But yeah, love your videos! Hope you make a new one day :)

Nice game, funny graphics, the rotation adds more dynamic to the scene and the walking implementation looks really great. The gameplay is quite simple but implemented exceptionally well also it's very polished.

What a cool game ✨

Presentation is super cute, snappy and very satisfying. The gameplay is kept simple and very polished, it's fun to play! The three levels of difficulty felt well balanced to me, it took me a few tries to beat the last one.

The "game speeds up every ten seconds" didn't feel right to me:
- it doesn't speed up enough to be noticeable.
- Most trades don't even last 10 seconds.

I guess a more dramatic change, or making the speed boost stay for the rest of the game and not only the current trade could easily fix that if you plan to make a post-jam version? Or maybe just remove that, the game already feels complete without it.

I had a lot of fun, thanks for the game and great job 🎾

It does indeed contain silly legs ^^. I didn't realized the game was speeding up because I kept failing at hitting the ball. Good work overall!
