It's harvest day and NobNob has three hungry babies to feed. Luckily there's plenty of fresh vegetables waiting to be collected. Bring the right vegetables back to the den while avoiding the farmer's dogs and machines.

Controls: - W A S D or click and hold to move.

Tips: - Keep yourself and your baskets away from the harvesting machines - they turn when they reach the edge of the field. - The farmer's dogs are harmless but they will steal and eat your vegetables. Try luring them into the harvesters. - Holding a vegetable you don't need? Feed it to one of the farmer's dogs.

Made in Godot. All art and audio was made from scratch during the jam.

Hi,
Congrats in posting a successful and good looking game. The graphics and animation is spot on !! Well done on that. Rest the game is pretty simple, gameplay gets monotonous soon, maybe you can do something fun with same assets. But like the implementation of the big field.

very cute arts and solid gameplay. i think the game may benefit from making the dogs and machines a bit smaller and then put more of those, so that the tension is a little more. although i get that the creature is supposed to be very little and cute.

Little cute... Is that a Totoro?

Increasing character speed would be great, also as throwing smth from your inventory instead of waiting for right vegetable. I've lost all of my bowls cause of farmers machines, damn!

Pretty good, we like that one.

This game was really cute. I got the hang of it and had 2 baskets until the farmer came and ran me over. And I really like the dogs not moving toward me til I have food.

Great game! Really like the idea and the art style! 10/10 would play! It was fun!

I really enjoyed it, as for constructive feedback, I think zooming in the camera would work well.

pretty good game! loved the concepte and mood. i wished the game get a bit harder with time (increase machines speed & number ?) ,it was a bit frustrating sometime not being able to switch vegetable ^^. Overall it's a nice take on the snake genre !

Pretty neat game! Animations are good however I would consider adding a drop function and maybe add some some aspects that might prevent the game from becoming monotonous over time - such as increased speed for all sprites.

I really like the art and atmosphere ^^ the character is especially cute, running around with the vegetables ^^ I didn't see any new machanics over time, thats too bad cus I would not particularly continue to play after a while.

I was doing sooo well with all my bowls, but then almost lost all of it to an unexpected turn from the harvester. A really fun and well made game! :D

Well thought out game and features! At first I thought the character was super slow, but then got the boots and started to speed up. Really nice having the upgrades, multiple vegetable objectives, and obstacles to avoid. Balanced and everything fit the theme, including the music.

Only thing visually I'd change is it seemed odd that the dogs would be transparent for so long. Maybe instead of transparency, you could have dazed birdies over their heads instead?

The animations added great character and life to everything. Good job!

The characters are super cute and the music really fits the harvest theme - its a nice combo that really sets the mood! The increase in difficulty and pace and the obstacles to avoid makes it fun to run around and try to collect the right produce in time. At one point I didnt have enough baskets and that was pretty stressful! :sweat_smile:

Overall a great entry :smiley:

Graphics / art are great. I like the effect of seeing where the combines that are off screen are. Cool feature. Good atmosphere.

Character was a bit slow too slow I think in the beginning even if it gets faster over time. Gameplay was fine.

But!
Cat is cute like a blob and gawd!!! the cat sounds makes me wanna squeeze it!~ >.<
