This doesn't feel great. An easy band aid would just be to slap a little digging sound while the player is waiting for the plant to be placed.\n\nThere does seem to be spotty detection on upgrading the plants. I have to click more than a few times to actually get the menu to upgrade the plants. (As I've just just figured out, you can be at any distance and upgrade plants... any distance except for directly beside the plants.) But there doesn't seem to be an advantage over upgrading a plant as opposed to making a bunch of little plants.\n\nThe difficulty scales pretty fast, it doesn't seem to take very long until I get into a position where planting anything will get me killed (Health cost, and the stampede of grandmas). Slow down the scaling health drain, and add some kind of comeback mechanic, like little health packs.
