## Story
It is the Time Now, a non-negative, non-zero year about 63 years after the collapse of the global industrial economy, the Time Before. Nation states have dissolved into smaller, more local and feudal counties. Although remnants of the technological advancements from the Time Before are still present, and in some cases still part of everyday life, most are left to ruin due to the inability to organize the community to support their maintenance.
Of all the resources that failed humanity, one has remained steadfast, Poo π©.
Though virtually untapped during the Time Before, Poo is exceptionally versatile, available, and renewable. It is used for energy, heat, tools, and even currency.
As global reliance on Poo increased and the use of digital and industrial tooling decreased, reports of sightings of strange creatures began circulating. Reports of goblins, trolls, fairies, and gnomes! All things thought to have only been in storybooks and songs, now walking the planet.
It appears that these creatures had been around, but were missed because of the technological distraction which plauged humanity in the Time Before. Ever present, but easily missed they were able to live off of humanity's preoccupation. Humanity is no longer distracted. The creatures' resources have now also shifted to Poo.
Everything wants it, everything needs it.
Everything must have Pooπ©.
## Your Place in the Time Now
Like your father and his father before him, you are a farmer. Now with your parents gone, you've inherited the family business, and your business is Poo.
It's up to you to not run it into the ground, keep yourself fed, safe, and warmed with your Poo powered generator. All while making a profit enough to improve your conditions.
Your Poo farm is deep in the forest and surrounded by goblin villages. You have to stock up Poo before winter and the goblins know that. During the Poo Harvest, goblins pour out of the woods into your farm clearing to steal every turd they can get their hands on.
By any means necessary, πSTOP. THEM.π

Could not see the health, why did I die?
- Clear goal.
- easy to understand
- interesting and fun idea to the theme
- I like that the shop moves around
Feedback:
- Maybe add the goal at the beginning of the game.
- It's pretty annoying that you can't shoot if you're too close to the silo, since you will put the poo inside the it instead. Wish we could take poo from the silo to shoot, and not just put more poo inside the silo.
The main character and the shed looked like from Stardew Valley. The music fit well into the game.
Overall, it was relaxing, even though I had no idea why I was doing all of the dirty work. :)
EDIT: Oh, I just read the game description, my bad. I now know what the goal is, sorry.
I wish there was a click needed to confirm adding poo to the barn. There were several times I was running by to defend it and deposited all my ammo instead.
It needs an indicator for the nearest goblin, or at least better feedback for where they are. The last part of a wave becomes a matter of finding the last few on the map. The problem is doing so floods the map with ammo/poo and makes the game too easy from then on. I eventually was able to collect a bunch of poo and just stockpile forever.
I think in general the threat level of the goblins is a bit weak. The unicorn poo is also overpowered.
The later guns cost way too much ammo to fire. I had my best survival just using the shotgun since it spreads a few shots, or just tossing poo normally to conserve ammo. Most of the other guns just emptied my ammo and left me defenseless. I constantly wanted a way to upgrade how much poo I could hold to be able to use the better guns. With how low that pool is I often would instantly turn around just to cash in a trip.
With all those issues, I had a hard time understanding how to play, or having much fun with this version. However, I do think there is a very fun game loop waiting in here, if you tweak a few things and improve it further. It's not that fun yet, but the groundwork is there.
I did run into some goblins at the game start before ever seeing any poo originally so that had me a little confused at first. Maybe some minor tweaking of spawn timers? Just a consideration! Love the product overall - be proud of yourselves and do what you think is best cause you've got brown gold on your hands already!
Really fun game and easy to jump in and go on the browser version. Only bug I saw was when opening the shop, if I exited it with ESC instead of the 'X', my poo meter and stash would disappear and I had to go back to the shop to get them back. Reminisce on the days when pooping was more than a strained activity, bring back the fun of poo!

I will say the goblin AI was a little funky and I'd occasionally have to run around the map looking for the one that was stuck on a cow. If they moved a little faster and had more robust movement they might be a little scarier, but it was also fun to just be able to run around collecting poo without worrying too much about them.
The variety of weapons was a fun addition, and they're all different in more significant ways than just "1 damage," "2 damage," "3 damage," etc.
It's also really impressive you made such a cohesive game with such a large team! In my experience it's very hard to coordinate with more than 2 or 3, so you must have had some effective team/project management going on.
Thanks for making this, and good luck during the rest of play and rate!

Good catch on the goblins getting stuck on animals. We noticed that as well and have a patch coming tonight to fix it. They will also be faster.
I know I was *supposed* to be killing goblins (right?) but they were hard to find and pretty hard to hit too. Having the velocity of the player affect the velocity of the bullets would have helped.
The audio was fun. An area for improvement would be to have multiple sounds then cycle through them randomly to give some variety, it got tiring after a while hearing the exact same farty effect.
Thanks for playing!
I did try to add some variety to the animal sounds by giving them different pitches from a pool of poo sounds according to their size and each animal had several sounds as well, but you're right, the poo sounds could have been a little more varied.
Honestly, after a few recordings I was crying laughing that I was actually even doing the poo noises, so I had to take a break lol. I mainly wanted it to be a joke, but more importantly to help give the player a way to hear where to find some poo if they were low and didn't see any.
Yeah the goblins are after the poo in your silo, some of the poo in the field, and also poo in your pockets!
It's really fun to play it, the concept that goblin still poos in silo is soooo cool! And weird! Ha ha.
But, audio is kinda bored when you keep playing. However, still good game!
Thanks for made this game! Cheers!
That the goblins just consumed all the poo in their path was my downfall. Should probably have moved out and hunted them down all around the map as they were approaching instead of waiting for the to the last moment.
The turd launcher felt a little underpowered but the scatling gun was just pure unadulterated fun. Sometimes it was a bit frustrating to have to find the merchant. I think I would like him to either be stationary or to have some sort of map. Because I always felt punished when I went to far away from my home instead of just camping it. Overall a very pootastic game!
Graphics and sound worked perfectly with the gameplay, the animal and poo noises were a great addition, I felt they added a lot of liveliness to the farm. I think the 8bit graphics made everything very charming, same with the music. Just gives you those comfy farm vibes. All around great game, well done!
The gameplay can be improved by making it slightly easier to kill fleeing goblins, and probably making the map smaller. Oh and btw, i think i spent the first 5 minutes without realising i wasnt depositing my poo and was just throwing it away. Having the controls appear in game at some point might've been useful, although its possibly i missed them.
Either way! This was a great game!
