Very nice game! The art is very polished, I really like it. The atmosphere is great too. My only suggestion would be with the controls: I often wanted to control the direction of the scythe with the mouse, I think it would be more intuitive. Good job on this!

I'm reminded of Vampire Survivors a bit? :D Great game it was very fun to play! Although it was a bit finnicky to aim with the sickle but that's just like in real life 😄

I like the idea that the plants have two uses.

I felt like I never got a chance to tend to the plants once enough zombies were spawning - I could never stop running from the zombies.

The music track is epic! I couldn't quite figure out in what state the plants are in (are they shooting, should I water them or not, should I try not to hit the plants, do I need to protect them). Also it was a bit hard to know when the zombies deal damage to the player. Anyways a solid game about fighting off zombies, good job!

edit: I should have read the instructions more carefully :)

Very nice game! It reminded me of plant vs zombie but with it his own unique gameplay! Good Job! :)

Idea is nice, but the execution has some problems. For example the projectile would work better if it aimed automatically instead of firing in the direction you are facing. Other skills also feel underpowered and the design should explain better which plant correspond to what. Graphics is ok, but would be better without mixing different sizes of pixels. Combat feels not great, maybe pushing enemy with scythe could help. Anyway, if you plan to further develop this idea, it has some potential.

600 kills 450 seconds and stopped it manually, I think I liked it haha
Tho a bit of a changement in the GD : Growing automatically with light shouldn’t happen or should be wait longer. It is clearly too easy I just have to go grab a bit of water and then stands in my plants and have fun.
Tho, the graphics are more than enough, the sound is a bit horrible when lot of zombies die. The gameplay is simple but fun seriously, was running around trying to find some water and some zombies were slap the shit out of me.
Great job, GGs

This a cute little game, definitely would have liked the sickle to slash towards where the mouse was as that's what I kept trying to do as @ekaktusz already said, though I got used to slashing in the direction of movement after a while regardless :D

The music was definitely a jam, and it feels like it fits well into the theme while being really moody in a cool way :)

Good work!

Simple but surprisingly addictive! I could see myself playing a lot of this.

I think a tutorial would really help the player to ramp up, here, because it took me a long time for me to work out what was going on with the plant abilities. I was too focused on the middle of the screen to notice the fire meter building up, and I mistook the watermelon projectile initially for a bug.

I also agree with @profan that it would feel much better if you could slash in a different direction to where you're moving. Running back and forth _works_, but I would have felt cooler running circles around the zombies.

I harvested 49 zombies in 2 minutes. I don't know if that's terrible or only bad

I like the art, sound and music! I didn't encounter any bugs and the controls were solid. Well done to the whole team!

Fun idea for a harvest game! I really like the choice between letting plants grow for a while versus harvesting them early. The PvZ-like base defense aspect is great. I also really like how water needs to be discovered outside your base, nudging you to leave your cozy garden and take on more risk (especially when the zombies are really fast later!). Great execution of a cool idea, and I hope you consider adding more features after the jam!
