It's a good classic gameplay, maybe add more "juicy" like camera shake, etc.. fun game and good luck for the future features, gg !

Y'see, I loved going to local game stores and seeing an old arcade cabinet, and this gave me that vibe. Good stuff there

Pretty good game, quite hard. The nostalgic sounds from pixel old games are very nice. In our days, this look unusual, I think.

This is a nice simple game with simple goals, very humble game.

A lot of gameplay variety for how simple it is.

Nice work and good luck in judging!

Really satisfying gameplay for such a simple mechanics. I was surprised that the walls or the ceiling didn't kill you even if it was similar to the floor which kills you. The simple graphics, music and sounds worked really well too. Good job!

Quite a fun and satisfy small game. I liked the artstyle kinda reminds me of downwell.
- Maybe making the things that kill you a different color could help the readability of the game, i started of thinking i die when touching the sides of the screen or the top. I know the spikes are a bit more spikey than the rest, but yeah still spikes.
- I think the bar shooting at the bottom was just for visuals, but maybe making something come from the bottom so you have to get over and shoot could add an additional challenge?

Great game, good job

The concept is really simple, which makes this game very addictive. The retro arcade style is charming! It is a little bit easy, though. I would suggest to (maybe optionally) increase the difficulty. Have the top and side borders destroy you as well and/or allow only a certain amount of pearls to be missed.

Thanks guys for all of your feedbacks! I can't believe I got so much positive feedbacks. Anyways, I've read through all of your suggestions, and I'll consider bringing them into my game, just not now, since I am really busy with school exams. Again, thanks all for playing my game.

Nice game. Beautiful art style and music. I would make that if the ball the you harvest will fall you lose, otherwise it's just almost infinite game.

This is a fun little highscore game! The old school style of it was really pleasant to look at and gave real nostalgia vibes! The SFX were maybe a bit too sharp in my opinion, but honestly that does build on the retro feel of it so it's not necessarily a problem. Overall great game!

pretty fun game. i'd suggest maybe giving the bullet you shoot some kind of use

Pretty fun game. It captures the retro arcade vibe perfectly. The graphics and sound were crisp and the gameplay was pretty well executed. Would've loved to see a bit of juice to really put it over the edge though.

this was actually one of the most fun entries i've played, in terms of pure gameplay feel & satisfaction. i spent my first few rounds thinking the walls and ceiling would kill me too, it became a lot easier once i realized i could bump along them and be fine.

for a while, i felt quite comfortable just getting the pearls that were far away from the obstacles, and letting the risky ones just go by. however, eventually i got cornered on the left edge of the screen, and when i finally got brave enough to try to get back over to the right where the pearls were, got hit by an obstacle right at the ceiling level :(

but yeah, the movement feels really tight, it's a simple arcade game with basically no glitches, great work!

the only thing i noticed was that the bgm dropped out for several minutes, then randomly came back. do you have a lot of silence at the end of your audio file?

final score: 37

@ffrusik Honestly, I made the game to be endless, and your job is just trying to get the highest score possible :) But I'll probably add a harder mode which has that feature ;)

@borderdestroyer I don't know how to make SFX so I just generate them randomly

@duncan-3 I decided to add some kind of enemies that you can shoot, but honestly I don't have enough time for that. However, I might add it into the game in the future ;)

@ex3d0 Adding juice to the game is kinda hard for me, but I'll try :)

@sakura-magika For the walls and ceiling, I decided to add a hard mode where you can die of those things. For the music, I don't have any silence at the end of the file, maybe that's a bug (but I didn't see that bug when I was playtesting, weird)

Anyways, thanks guys for all of your feedbacks

I'm so bad at this kind of games  But I tried enough to see that this is a good entry, with a good old-school mood. So, well done!
