Solid entry. Good straightforward gameplay, nice appealing art, and thumping music! Very engaging, definitely think this is worth spending post jam time on. Great work!

Probably one of my favorite entries so far. Made it to day 6 or so? I enjoyed the music, the art, picking the cards between battles, and I found the coins very satisfying. Minor feedbacks? I think actually having to click on the coins would be a touch more satisfying. I love that the difficulty curve starts out quite easy (most game jam games start off way too hard). Anyway, nice idea, and well implemented with some good 'juice'. Well done!

Nice game! Art is quite good, and I liked the card mechanic. Looking forward to seeing any post-jam updates you give this!

I love how the options you pick after a stage give you a positive effect and a negative effect. It's quite a nice twist and it really makes you consider the consequences of your actions.

I made it to stage 4 and lost because I wasn't sure where the enemies would be coming from (web version. there was definitely stuff happening slightly off screen) and the plants I placed as a defense where nowhere near the enemies."

All around, a very well made game. Great work!

Fun concept, and a lot of modularity for adding new things in the post jam version! For some reason tomatoes weren't available to me in the 2nd world (did I deactivate them somehow?) so I had no way to defend my wheat. But yeah, good tower defense idea that has a lot of potential for growth! I liked the audio variety between the menu, gameplay, and upgrade screens. Well done!

Fun little entry, essentially a tower defense without a predefined path so you have to cover angles and adapt. Seems to run very smoothly, although some content is incomplete. The level of polish is impressive, and it's clear this could be a very solid game given a little more development time. An options menu is always impressive in LD!

It seems quite easy - I haven't managed to come close to losing a round yet.

Art is simple but effective. The banner image is great too! Music is also simple, but quite catchy.

Very polished entry! Loved the groovy music. Art was solid. Seems like a really nice base and an ambitious project for a jam. Shame all the upgrades didn't make it in, but I do appreciate the time taken to add things like volume control taking priority. :) Had fun playing it on stream!

Edit: Also love the name!

Very nice! I had fun despite the shortage of working elements. What was there was still quite enjoyable. Excited to see the post-jam updates!! :D

Really well done game! Both game mechanics and art style are nice and music is awesome. Pachira are a bit OP for it price. I'm also wondering if: quality of soil affect how strong projectiles are... Great job with the game and good luck with further development!

Great base for a game, its a shame you didnt have enough time to polish it and make those upgrades work :((. But i can really see it being a great game so keep it up!!

Holy cow, this game is really fun! I wanna buy more plants! I need more! Really well put-together, and with how the upgrades and space work in this game, I see it having potential to be more fun than pvz, which is extremely limited in its scope. One thing I would like added if the world were mine is- maybe obstacles to exploit the vast map. It would give players creative freedom to build/play as creatively as they want!

Phenomenal entry! ^~^

Incredibly well polished from the scene transitions to the soundtrack. However the upgrades locked out of this version meant that a lot of core concepts don't work - there's no reason too plant wheat! What's here is fun but it felt like half a game. Heaps of potential here

i think i agree with @fizzbark , this was fun to play but given that the wheat is a dud, and it's just about grinding those pachira coins and tomato turrets, i feel a bit lost playing. personally, i would have taken out the wheat and not shown the shop, if they dont actually work, and focused on making something fun with the mechanics you did complete. maybe do more with the map, since it seems like there is plantable and unplantable terrain.

i like the designs of the different bugs!

Nice tower defence build. The art of your cards and main screen is so cool loved to see it to in the buttons and shop.
Think you can make this into a "full" game :)

Fun defense game with a great audiovisual experience! I love the cards and the extra strategy they added. I was confused by the wheat until I read the comments, so I'll have to try some runs where I'm not worried about stocking my fields with them!

Pretty straightforward tower defense game. I assumed the different colors of dirt were different levels of fertility, but nothing confirmed that for me. The game was very easy and I was never challenged. At stage 4, I was unable to continue past the shop for some reason.

Charming graphics and sounds. I hope you spend some time post-jam on this. It's quite the ambitious game for such short time!

Your takes on Tower Defense is very interesting, the fact you choose the emplacement on stuff to defend (and you can buy it like another plant) and the "advantage / disadvantage" pair you have to choose at the end of a game adds to the variety of strategy the player can have !
I spotted some minor bugs: coins that appears on the border of the screen or that you can't get without moving because there is a transparent UI element, and sometimes I was wondering if the bonus I choosed was really in activity, but I had no serious bugs.
Congratulation for your entry !

Love the graphics and sound and the gameplay is easy enough (maybe a bit too easy?) but at the same time entertaining. Well done!

There is a whole lot to appreciate here! :D First, I gotta say I like the title and the logo -amazing pun and the design with the sharp toothed 'aggro' in contrast to the kind, green 'culture' is fun and captures the spirit of this game nicely!

It was really fun to get as many pachira so I could load up on the wheat while trying to balance necessary defense vegetation xD Also, I was not familiar with pachira before this game -money tree lol perfect!

The game play was great and everything felt smooth and polished! I really liked the aspect of protecting your wheat to spend between rounds -made progression really fun! Ended up buying everything in the store lol (could not get the pumpkin to work btw) and was fun to read what the upgrades are going to be -some very cool ones in there! The music was great! The art was awesome -really had to have it full screen to appreciate some of the pixel work -like the cards looked amazing and even some of the ui touches like a gardening glove was great! Really liked that you could pick up coins by hovering over them instead of clicking on them too. Played this one for a really long time and had a lot of fun!

Fantastic work! :D
