You have to be mindful of how you control the ship to avoid bumping into stuff. The controls are a bit different than usual but probably more realistic. If I remember correctly that's how Starbound does it with mech walks.
Something to think about is the permadeath, maybe go back to the level start instead of a full game restart?
The parallax backgrounds are cool!
Good atmosphere and concept though!
Eventually getting the upgraded collector and long-range mining laser was a very nice change of pace. It was also really cool that the vessel actually changes appearance gradually as you upgrade each element. Excellent work on this game - you guys are amazing!
In my opinion the game is balanced in a way that makes it too hard to achieve the objectives for a new player. It's fine that the ship controls are really difficult. It feels like you're in outer space and I imagine that to be hard to control. However, the player health, the time when the drones start coming in, the station health, the amount of resources needed. Pretty much all of these could be tweaked in order to make the game a lot more accessible.
The upgrades feel way too expensive compared to the amount of resources you get per harvest, I could never afford a single one before dying
Those things aside the game looks great and has a lot of promise
Especially liked the control of spaceship. It's really challenging.
Thanks for game =)
however, controls were a bit tricky to me (they look like some other no gravity controls, but were a bit weird compared to what i was used to know), and i ended up destroying my ship when i thought i was mining oops
