Do you want to Grow a carrot? 🥕 Now you can! On your phone!

How to play:

🥕 Install the game and plant a carrot seed!

🥕 Come back from time to time !

🥕 Wait 2 or 3 months and then click on Harvest!

🥕 Spend your Carrot point on a new background and keep on growing Carrots!

(You don't have to keep your app open during 3 months, you can close it!)

Warning: The game is more of a funny concept than really a game and can't really be tested in 10 minutes, but you have to comeback to it every few weeks! If you want to play on windows you need to not uninstall/delete the file!

@jellybean I tried to follow real time carrot growth and be somewhat similar to different state with from major difference that I update the visual only update every few days where in real life a carrot grow all the time x)

I think it would be hard to come up with a simpler but still interesting/funny idea. On one hand I don't want to keep the app open that long (I guess on mobile that would be less of an issue), on the other I'm curious so see what would come out, lol.

Have there ever been game with such a disproportionated humour/fun ratings? This is absolutely least fun game in a jam, but it is good joke.

@danmerey eheh that was my challenge for this jam yes x) Let's said I tested with Day being minutes or seconds instead of days x) But in order to test properly I launch a real game witch should be finished after the voting phase is finished!

Nice graphics with very little resources! The repeating pattern and especially the vignette effect gives it a very nice touch (I must remember this).
Nice little portrait mode game. The best portrait mode game so far! ... Just joking. Nice game!

So far the best I've seen. What a bold move to make a game that takes longer to play than the voting period of ludum dare.

The only thing larger than the carrot I'm going to grow is your balls for pulling off this idea. Well done!

I wanted to make the same joke, that I'll come back to rate once I've completed the game. But since that has already been done I rated now instead. Obviously since I'm not a cheater I haven't seen the whole game, but the concept is just amazing. I wish I could come up with stuff like this!
