Shovel the Potatos into the Barn!

Shovel all the Potatos you're getting delivered into the Barns and avoid breaking the Lamp inside the house at all costs. But be warned, Potato-Delivery-Spawns will get faster over time!

Controls

Definitely made me smile and laugh out loud when I broke the lamp. Also, someone played too much 'Getting over it'. Really unique, fun little entry

When they say this is the "Potato Game" they are not kidding. SO MANY POTATOS! This was hilarious and I had a blast playing.

I wasn't able to play it, somehow it used up too much cpu and gpu even with my 3070. Looked like nice art though. I don't know how other people are playing this. Just the menu takes up over 60% of my GPU.

Ok, I had a LOT of fun with this :D . The artstyle is funny, the game is funny, the concept is whack and the gamefeel of jamming a million of potatos into a barn at once is interesting. Needs some better explaining at the start cause I took a while to figure out what was happening. Very cool entry <3

@ravarion Cheers! We are aware the game is pretty hardware hungry. We had to sacrifice performance to get it done at all. I tried to add an fps limiter in the settings, but couln't get it to work' so i locked it at 60fps. Thanks for trying though! :)

I absolutely love this game and am now quitting my ambitions of becoming a game dev to be a potato farmer. This was an absolute joy to play and wish you two the best of luck on game making in the future.
(also I cannot believe this was your first game! That's insanely impressive!)

What is this game? Everything is perfect! The art is super cute and work really well with the gameplay, the gameplay is fantastic and fun... If you don't win, I'll be sad.

I thought the game was pretty cool. I imagine you drew it all, so I wanted to congratulate you especially on that! I confess that I had a little difficulty playing it, but it's quite fun, if you advance on it and do more "levels, warns me, that I will be happy to test and continue giving feedback. I loved this game. It's so fun! The panic when the next truck comes in is just hilarious.

Ich musste erstmal stutzen als ich den Accountnamen gelesen hab, kenne ich doch - schön wen man hier antreffen kann. ;D

Super cuddly little game ... and this is really your first GameJam entry? Respect, super solid. Had fun pushing and shoveling potatoes until the game crashed ... but seems to be a known problem.
Otherwise very nice, keep it up! :D

What a lovely and cute game! Such adorable graphics. I had a lot of fun playing. The cinematic lamp break was a nice touch. I love the idea! :DD I managed to store 740 Potatoes before the lamp broke.
The pacing in the beginning could have been a little faster. Later the potatoes really overwhelmed me. xD
In the beginning I broke the game by puching all the potatoes in the ground. xD

As simple as it is, its a fun little game. Managed to push away 755 potatoes before I threw one at the lamp.

Super fun art style that matches the silly gameplay well! It's pretty hilarious that doing nothing seems to be better than futilely shoveling, though it's definitely a lot of fun trying!

(haha, made it to 106989 potatoes just standing at the door)

Love the art style. Great control of play tense！However core strategy part introduction progress too slow. I have to wait for a long period to get to the part where I can really perform any strategy. Enjoyed your game~

This is a very challenging adventure! Why would he need a lamp if it's always light outside? Apparently they are connected by something more, I liked it!

Really great game, especially for your first one ever made! The art style alone already makes the game wholesome. The gameplay obviously is very basic and simple, but well executed and fun. By implementing a menu with its own title screen + settings and the ending cutscene it feels like a wrapped up game. Good job!

This game has it all! Really fun and everything just falls into place. The almost aggressive spawning of potatoes made me laugh!
