[raw]
made by yetanother for Ludum Dare 52 (JAM)

A simulation of a wheat field, very peaceful... or not You are playing the harvest goddess, ans must tend to your field by managing the wildlife. Depending on your approach the game can be very intense, or quite relaxing. Keeping the ecosystem balanced is harder than it looks!

the game is very short (less than 3 minutes) so you can retry many times!

Amazing artwork, and a wonderful interpretation of the theme. It took a few play-throughs to make the mechanic clear, but I liked it.

When I scare off all the birds, no foxes appear, yet it tells me the foxes ravaged the field and Game Over. Very Pretty graphics, though.

Great concept and atmosphere, though it seems really hard to strike the right balance. The birds seemed to eat the wheat super fast so I couldn't really figure out the right rate to keep them away without losing them all. Tried 4 or 5 times and never had a successful attempt. Would be cool if there were something like a more circular ecosystem to manage. (Also I found it kinda funny that there were telephone poles in the background implying a modern setting yet the farmers still paid tribute to a goddess.) Still a cool experience overall, good work.

Very very pretty game, took a lot of rather slow-paced experimenting to figure out how the mechanics worked. Overall, I think having quicker restart times and a more clear mechanical explanation (though optimally with less text than the game has currently) would be helpful.

Whew, yeah, this is a very tough game but it's gorgeous, an awesome idea, and super unique. I wish it was quicker to restart, but that's a super minor gripe, and the game is epic as heck! Very well done :D

Very beautiful game, but I wish there were some kind of indication of when the birds are eating and how much they need to eat.

On my first play after chasing off a single bird it said that foxes would ravage the field but I saw no foxes. I lost to this invisible fox so I restarted and next time there were 4 birds and a fox which seemed about right. I couldn't seem to chase off the fox but I could keep clicking on the birds and lasted longer.

Do I want the birds to starve to death, or do I want to give them just a little bit of food each?

The graphics, the sound, and even the font contribute to a really nice mood, and I like the idea that there's already a harvest you have to protect.

Sorry for the broken gameplay, we tried to make a complex system but failed to implement it properly :-( @almost : the experienced you had shows that we really need to fix the system, but you still got the idea : you want to feed the birds a little, otherwise the foxes proliferate ! We are going to re-work it in the future !
