Good job all around!
@joey-shipley @lewl thanks for the feedback! Really happy you enjoyed it :D
Only nitpick is that the sound effects feel a bit repetitive
Spent 30+ min in your game =D
Great work.
I liked the artwork and the ambiance of the music. I don't tend to play very many games like this, so I can't really comment on the gameplay itself very much, but it seems like a solid implementation to me!
I recorded my gameplay experience in this video,

The menu music is cool and immediately helps set the isolated, barren tone of the planet surface. The weapon abilities are great too, and balanced nicely with one another. The acid and fire are my favorites, but they're all fun. I played this one for quite a while and really enjoyed it - great work!

sound desgin is really great too
Thanks for putting a goal of gems to reach. Often jamer set just an endless mode which to test is quite frustrating ^^
The game is challenging but not too hard !
Add little bit of feedbacks effect (hurt and shoot) and it would be perfect!
