This game made me realize I can't press arrow keys in correct order even if there is no timer nor need to do that in beat

Had a lot of fun with this one! I really like how the map expands over time and exposes more rare and valuable resources. I also like how the combo length is based on the resource type, so it gets more challenging to harvest more valuable items later. If you add more features later, it'd be cool to be able to collect jumpjet fuel from certain spots and use that to fly over gaps. I'd also love to see more distinct abilities/bonuses that come from each type of resource so maybe you make a bee-line for specific types before your fuel or health runs out, or collect a certain number of rare red/blue resources before your inventory is too full. Great work on this game!

Wow, this is very impressive! The game kept me really engaged, and the gameplay is really fun, I love this! Graphics look properly retro and simple great. And the gameplay is super polished for such a small amount of time. I got game over just short of 6/6 phase. Incredible job, really well done! I think if you spend some more time on it after LD, I don't see a reason why this couldn't be a proper, standalone game. :)

Who's going to beat my score?

Had a lot of fun with this one! I really like how the map expands over time and exposes more rare and valuable resources. My indie game was also made in Construct so seeing 3D in construct is not frequent. The robot reminds me of Transformers or Gundam vaguely. Great execution...

The game feels very polished and has great visuals. I especially liked how satisfying all the sound effects are. The gameplay is also very fun and has a nice flow to it. Great job!

Visually super impressive! Love the asset work and the recreation of a cel-shaded style. Also shout out to the not-so-subtle Victory Gundam reference in the title, mech design and color scheme :stuck_out_tongue:.

I think some iteration on this concept could be something worthwhile! Was expecting more of a punishment for failing an arrow input in the harvest mini-game, for example.

Great work!

Looks and plays great! Had a lot of fun with this one. Did you use sfxr synth for the sfx?

This was a wonderful game! As a huge fan of the QTEs mechanic (and I guess rhythm games would contribute to my likeness of this jam entry too), I loved every aspect of it. I enjoyed learning how to get a better score with combos.

The visuals were fantastic, and the sound was very good. Great job to the team!

Here's my high score

@erivas-soulares @grunkgrunk It's always nice to find other construct users! I love this engine, and it was a real pleasure to discover the 3D objects & camera for this Ludum! Thank you for your feedback !

This is one of the coolest games I've played so far in this jam! I love the art style, the models, the music, the harvesting mechanic, you name it! Great work team.

Thanks everyone for the feedbacks, we really appreciate them!

@nick-hayashi That's right! I used the random presets until I found something that sounds like I want, then I started to get used with the slides so I could tweak a bit if I wanted them to be more or less different. @kilirane told me about that tool during the jam and it's a nice discovery!

The aesthetic gives me bomberman 64 vibes which I love. I feel like the sort of rapid QTE based arrow harvesting mechanic could have had a bit clearer explanation, but once I got it I enjoyed seeing how fast I could burn through the commands and harvest quickly.

Interesting idea for a game, and a nice take on the theme! Loved the soundtrack. I tried figuring out the highest scoring crop and trying to reach it in the map, almost made it to 6/6 before running out of time. Hitting arrows got a bit repetitive after a while, it could be cool if each type of crop could have a different mini-game to harvest it or something? But that would go past the scope of a game jam, and you've already done incredibly well with this game in the time available. Super impressive, congratulations!

I actually liked this quite a lot, for the longer sequence plants, trying to gather a lot of them quickly got pretty hectic in a fun way; big fan of the art style too, nice job on this :)

Wow, this was a very good game. Interesting mechanic, although I would have loved a counter also when you enter the key combination to increase the stress level even further and maybe destroy the harvest if you get it wrong. Amazing graphics, sound and music super well done!

Oh nooo I ran out of time just at the end of phase 6!
This game is so nice, with the tension growing as we learn the flow. Art, VFX and music are neat, well done!

One single problem I got is that I felt into a hole while I learned before that I couldn't fall into holes on the border of the map, and then, instant game over :grimacing: But once it got it, no problem ;p Perhaps a solution would be:
- either you can fall into all holes
- or the holes with this effect would have a specific sign (mini-vortex or whatever)
- or your character can't run into all holes

This game was quite fun to play. But I had some issues:
- tutorial is too long and I was still confused after reading it
- you don't feel that much tension from the timer, for a while I didn't even know you can loose this game
- The main menu looks bad. Having a distorted screenshot of the game on the right makes it ugly

But aside from that the game was snappy, responsive and fun. Graphics and audio are amazing, especially the start animation and UI. Good job

Wow, this even at this stage this is quite polished game. I really like how you made your main character a mix of human-shaped robot and a combine harvester. The graphics are simple but clear enough, combined with music and sound effects gives me vibes of early PS1/PS2 games

I also like how you introduce new harvestable items in later stages stages.

As others noted, it would be nice to have some visual differentiation between the holes created by asteroids. As well as some in-game hint that you need to press arrow keys to harvest crops (I had to quit to main menu and go back to read tutorial). If possible the tutorial should also be made as part of gameplay, but I understand it's quite hard to fit proper tutorial in gamejam timeframe.

I am also wondering if there were any plans for specific harvest order multiplies? for example: `A A B B B C D D C A` -> gives `x23` multiplier? Or `A B A B A B A B A B` -> `x5` that's like two rows of `A` and `B`, but mixed up in precise order.

So, like I said, solid entry

Out of curiosity, are you using free edition? or paid? I can image it would be very painful to create all this in 50 events or less.
