I love strategy games and I know the difficulty of making one... congratulations! Great game!
Still, a nicely realized concept!
I think this game needs some improvements on the code side. Many times the UI is not really responding well.
Also, this game have nice visuals!
- sounds design fit the graphic design
-
What I didn't like:
- the combat mechanics weren't clearly communicated
- suggestion: more ui elements, like showing both walk and shoot range on mob select? Showing ammunition too perhaps?
-the level design was quite bland, which is understandable given your scope. Which I think might have been a bit too big for a jam.
Overall I would say this is good prototype, and I can see you gained some valuable experience. Good job!
I loved the art. I think it would be a nice art style for a game, it just needs to stand out a bit from the background. Surely ther's no background because lack of time.
Mechanic wise the game isn't that clear in what it does, it needs to be improved, but that's a lot of work to make it clear.
I like how you display the area in which you can move, that's neat.
Good job!
