Untitled Shooty Game 2: The Harvesting by hungryroy
Untitled Shooty Game2: The Harvesting
This is my submission for LUDUM DARE 52 with the theme "Harvest".
I am not an artist, so please excuse the programmer art. And the weird mishmash of notes that is the BG music.
I might upload Windows/Mac binaries later, but for now I'm submitting only the web version.

I am super tired, and I need to take a few days away from Ludum Dare after that. When I get back, I will happily review and give feedback to everyone who comments here :)

Great entry! I played it for way longer than i expected. I felt that it might've been a bit easy because eventually i was just blowing everything up and automatically picking everything up. Lots of fun tho :)

Nice classic twin stick shooter! I liked the upgrades, especially the weapon ones. Control felt responsive and nice. More sound effects and a score system could be a welcome addition. Overall, great work!

Very good entry. The sounds effects are very satisfying :). The regular upgrades make us feel progression, that's very cool. Fun to see a concept like Vampire survivor in space !

Dang there are so many bullets. I only got to like 2 upgrades at most and never managed to get to the point were the game felt easy like some of the other commenters are saying. Nevertheless, a very nice and well rounded game.

The controls were on point. You can really tell it has been made by a programmer since the gameplay and mechanics are very well made.

Fun game. A nice variety of enemies and upgrade options, kept the replays interesting. I liked the sound effects and the large ships having destructible parts. being shot from enemies off screen was a little annoying but since my longest game was 1:05 it probably didn't have a big impact :)

Your sprites are not just "programmer art" those are legit! Great entry thank you!

Fun twin stick shooter. Seems to be fairly well balanced although getting more cannons early game can give you an advantage. Art compliments the gameplay nicely
