@wolkp Thanks :) yeah, I really struggled trying to find the right pace and balance in difficulty
All in all, I'd say good base with nice improvement potential
Cool!
Graphics are simple but kinda cool !
I would love to have a way to speed up the evolution of roots, the game feels a bit slow when you understood the controls
Could do bit more flexible control scheme. When there are many branches it gets bit frustrating to scroll through all of em. Mouse choosing maybe? Then it could be balanced to faster and more chaotic fun with more (and nastier) enemies
@s-onoe Thanks a lot :) yeah, I had trouble figuring out how to keep everything on screen and fix that bug...so I made it feature :P you need to keep the roots going downward haha!!
@substain Mouse selection would be a cool idea too explore, it definitely gets tough to cycle through all the roots at the end
@danyclockworker Thanks :)
@kastaff Good to hear, I wasn't sure what the difficulty was going to be like so erred on making it easier
@emil-akper Thanks heaps :)
@jormarysky Thanks!! They're dynamic, updated every second at a new point and connected. Basically just one big wobbly line! Yep, seems like using the mouse could open up the game a lot :)
@efilheim Thank you!
### Things I liked
1. This gameplay is unique! It's kind of like an inverted missile defense, but, somehow, much more challenging!
2. Being able to control multiple roots by switching through them was a super interesting mechanic
3. There was a very clear game loop
### Things I noticed
1. Moles could kill me if they were above the screen (maybe I needed to zoom out a bit?)
2. I didn't really get the hang of the fact that the 'leaf' icon was just as important as the water pools until the very end, but it makes sense!
This game was very intense for me, and I enjoyed it!
