I love these sandbox LD entries!

Overall I really enjoyed this game. The gameplay is simple, but fun, harvesting your crops felt very satisfying, reminding me of my favorite game Stardew Valley. The 3D graphics are well made. Maybe some audio visual response would be appreciated, but that's not a big deal.

HUGE PLUS for the zoom in and out option, it sounds like a small thing, but to me this kind of details is very appreciated.

Not a bad game, definitely not for the RSI prone, but good for a few minutes to check out the concept :)

I like the story, but don't know if we get more than the introduction before my wrist started hurting.

I read the left shift option only after I sold about 800 corns. Fun game and fits the topic very much, feels like the maximum someone can achieve in three days!

Really good farming game! I love the variety of plants introduced each level. It's also interesting that time warps when you finish your quota. That makes the game more fast paced. Not sure if deliberate, but it's good!

I enjoyed it! I will say I built up the farm to the point that I started having for performance (Factorio-style).

If you're looking for a super easy SFX solution for next jam I recommend Bfxr. It's simple generative audio tool original developed in Ludum Dare.

Loved the harvesting part
I got a bug that stopped me from building more dome so that was quite difficult to optimize everything

Can't believe I missed the left shift explanation. My finger hurts so much! :)

I found it pretty easy to meet the quotas but it was still satisfying to get there. The only thing that bothered me (except for the lack of "sell all" which is apparently just me not properly reading instructions) was that the perspective sometimes made it difficult to tell where the correct place to click was.

Other than that this was a super fun game, I enjoyed my time with it a lot! Thank you for making it!

A beautiful game. I didn't quite have the patience / finger strength to meet my weekly quotas, but I still had fun. Some audio would have been a nice touch, with how much polish the rest of the game has, I kept wondering if something's wrong that it's completely silent. (In fact, I still do.)

The tutorial/hint system works very well!

I liked the clean graphics and the steady and clear progression to new items and ways to build out your farm, although I wasn't able to place a new dome (it seemed like a bug, in case you were supposed to be able to place them in any empty spot). The only improvement I can think of is being able to walk through the fields (at least empty parts) so that you don't have to navigate around them (although with the zoom option it's not that much of a problem). Overall a really nice game!

was really fun!
After getting the corn the money just came in - i took little notes to see how much harvest vs cost per seed i get and my favorites were definitely corn -> watermelon -> pineapple :grinning:

Lack of sound wasnt really an issue here, I have to say (played the browser version, which was a great option too, btw.)

some feedback:
- couldnt place a 2nd dome at all
- really fast paced, so definitley not for players that want a relaxing experience haha
- I found out, I idnt have to move the astronout really and could just do everthing zoomed out
- overall the Gameplay was solid and I definitely saw me hooked to get to the next level

@eric-shaun @indronna We haven't been able to reproduce a bug with not being able to place domes, make sure you have 100 resources in your inventory. You can use the resource collector to get resources, that information is conveyed in the item tooltips, apologies for not making it a bit clearer.

A cute little farming sim! I liked it quite a bit.

Others have pointed out that it's most definitely not slow-paced or relaxing, but it does become a little better when you realize that the post-objective boost is what you should be aiming for in a week. I did manage to place down other domes, it just seems that the player can't be inside them while doing so, which can be a little confusing.

If I did have a few nitpicks of my own, it would be that I'm very much used to the scroll wheel being a way of switching inventory slots similar games, not zooming in and out, and it managed to trip me up a bit. There also does not seem to be a way to switch items around in the inventory, unless I just didn't discover something? This was annoying when I wanted to plant seeds which were in the second row of my inventory. I would have also appreciated a way to get rid of seeds which I didn't want to plant anymore.

Other than that, I liked it! It was fun to click around in, and I liked the little space themed plants and their descriptions. Also a big fan of the ominous space pit, which blocks the way.

Classic, well-executed and intuitive farming game. Maybe add more exotic space plants to match the theme? The little purple astronaut is very cute.

Edit: I was about to add a potato-related The Martian comment when I saw the astronaut's name...

Really cool game! I enjoyed farming in it. Unfortunately my gameplay had to be cut short as my pc is a potato that explodes whenever the word "3D" enters its processing power.

At first I thought I need to be close to the field I want to plant something on (like in Stardew Valley) and it was a bit hard to controll. After I realized I can do everything without moving the character it suddenly became easier and more enjoyable. The possibility to plant, water and harvest just by dragging over the fields was nice.
I'm impressed you managed to implement such quite complex game with inventory system in such small amount of time. Congrats!

Nicely done farmer, it is possible to optimize the time warp by making sure that no spots are empty :eyes: room for speedrunning :P

The main character reminded me of that space game- Among Us. Often times I found myself looking for things to do while the crops grew but other than that, I had my fun growing plants and selling them for P R O F I T

Thanks for sharing, I had fun :)

Wow, this is very impressive for a weekend jam. Nice job, you guys! All the models and animations are well done, and I really like the gradually-growing plants so you can tell exactly when they'll be ready to harvest. The resource extractors are a neat addition. I initially missed that the Building Blueprint requires 100 resources rather than 100 credits, but that makes sense now.

The progression to better food sources over time is fun, and in a future version it would be cool to see more reasons to keep growing all types of food, rather than just the newest one that sells for a bit more. For example, maybe the colony could request a certain amount of corn, tomatoes, potatoes, etc in the next week's shipment. Very nice work on completing all these features so quickly! It's a lot of fun :)

I liked the "painting" style of farming, very satisfying to harvest a large field.

Took me a while to figure out how to plant seeds not in my hotbar, would have liked to be able to move stuff around my inventory.

I didn't understand why we needed space man because everything is done with the mouse. but his presence remains very sympathetic. 3d assets are very gorgeous. it's fun to play. Sounds and music would have been a plus, but even without the experience remains enjoyable!

Even in my garden I remain thematic ^^ :

Overall, pretty damn good. The only gripe of mine is that it doesnt have any sounds and i couldnt figure out how to place down the blue print, it was always red

@roroto-sic We had plans for the space man that we unfortunately had to cut since we ran out of time!

@skvader-418 You probably didn't have any resources in your inventory, or your player was overlapping with the structure. The blueprint tooltip explains how many resources it requires

@chompdev Hey! Thanks for playing the game. Like [most features we had planned but didn't make the cut](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/52/lunaculture/what-features-did-you-have-to-cut-for-ld52), we were planning on having the settlement request for specific kinds of crops to promote diversity. However, we had to settle on the current "sell X credits" system to get the game done in time. If the team takes this game beyond Ludum Dare, it will be a feature definitely worth implementing. Oh, and audio too. We *may* have re-prioritized audio/sfx time into further game polish.

I lasted until week 6, in which I didn't achieve the objective and decided to finish my playthrough. A really simple game, that fits the theme very well. Considering the graphics and a number of different crops and options, it is a really well-done game for a game jam. If I were to point out some flaws, I'd say that the gameplay got really repetetive after some time (although it is this kind of game, so I don't mind that too much). Also, I couldn't build another dome for some strange reason, even though I bought a blueprint? Anyway, I left a good grade, as this game was really nice!

it's a shame that we run out of space so quickly otherwise it's a very good game
