Fun gameplay. The green reaper adds some (good) stress.

One thing I found was sometimes I was wondering why I died. It didn't seem like I was being hit or was too far -- perhaps the hitbox is too lenient?

You're right, ran out of time so I forgot to properly balance the hitbox sizes, whoops!

Sometimes the grim reaper moves way too fast (and it's very difficult to dodge). It's unpredictable and just leads to an upsetting unpreventable death. The rest of the game is pretty great, the graphics are cool and the character design is fun! I think the difficulty needs to be addressed though. If players aren't surviving for more than 30 seconds, they simply won't have fun. It also makes it hard to get invested in the run when it could end because of a force that feels unfair.

I think this game could benefit from having a metric of score. Perhaps display how many enemies you killed on the 'game over' screen. or at least how many seconds you survived. that lets players in the comments have a little extra something to talk about, and it adds a little extra 'flair' even when the player doesn't succeed.

like, "You died. but on the plus side you killed 22 dudes." or something. Then on the victory screen display a speedrun time. I dunno.

It's a neat idea, but I think the difficulty dampens the experience. Cool game though.
