Looks great, I think the stearing should be inversed when driving backwards but that makes it a bit more challengin i guess.
Not sure if "just don't care about the animals" is the message you want to send here but that is the easiest way to win.

@schlock Yeah we probably didn't balance the animal hit penalty well enough with the level constraints.

Nice game, like the ambiance ! Music is very cool too and add some intensity to cow, euh... wheat harvest 😇

loved the look and the game but with my luck I hated all those rocks!
I could not stop thinking about the time & animals being enough of a challenge though.
took a while to pass the first level once getting the hang of the driving and being bit more cautious of the rocks, works well. Regardless, great game, well done!

I liked the game it was fun and the art is great I love it. The game worked great, but the only thing that annoyed me was the backwards steering being inversed, but it made the game a bit harder and made me have to concentrate better so its a minus and a plus on the same time :))

I had a blast playing this with my friend. I struggled so much to hit the 40% mark, always confusing the rocks for pigs. My friend managed to do it first try LOL. Very well done!

Great style! The game felt like you really wanted the "Limited visibility" theme to happen :D
The rock was a bit unforgiving but I enjoyed "accidentally" harvesting other things. But one time a cow got revenge and trapped me in a corner.

@multipixels @sibi Thanks for playing! We wanted the rocks to be like that so you had to really watch out or think fast, as otherwise you can just B Line up and down the field! I'm very glad you enjoyed playing :)

Who the heck planted rock-seeds in my wheat? Very interesting idea and great execution. At first I thought the position of the rocks was fixed per level, so you could "just" learn the pattern and then go ham on it, but noooo, they had to move between plays didn't they? XD

Really the only notes/additions I can think of is the music being a bit low during play and maybe an upgrade menu? Some powerup could be to reduce the cleaning time when a cow happens to be harvested or increase the yield; maybe even a radar of sorts, to warn you a rock is ahead (but without pinpointing the location of course)

Very good game!

@theherborist Thanks so much for playing! Those tips you gave are actually excellent and the best direction we should go in if we were to keep building on this game!

This game is hard. Also, it teaches me a valuable lesson: speed kills.

pretty difficult! i like the limited visibility implementation with dithering, the pier art in general was well done, even with some shadow casting!

the color pallet makes it look really eerie, and it's especially unsettling with the amount of gore from hitting an animal.

i liked controlling the tractor EXCEPT for backing up! when i back up, it seems like the left/right arrows to become inverted, which doesn't really match how i'd expect a car to drive, so that took a bit of getting used to.

i thought i was driving carefully, but still hit rocks for the first three or so rounds. then, i finally made it through the time limit without exploding, but only had like half the quota :(

besides the frustrating difficulty (i probably just need to get good), i think i disliked the music the most. it really didn't feel like it fit at all. i think i was expecting something more atmospheric and creepy, given the visuals.

main lesson: don't harvest wheat at twilight!

Is a great style of painting game, music although a little single but very emotional, just started to hit the pig when the blood collapsed on the screen and hit the stone issued a huge sound to me a jump, slowly adapt to find the game is quite difficult to consider the amount of oil and wheat harvest, played for a long time froze the first level did not pass haha, great game!
