Nice movie! I genuinely enjoyed the sh*tton of badly written text, and the graphics were really nice! I also liked your original idea - too bad you didn't make it, but at least this thing was funny.

Cancel culture has gone too far.
In all seriousness, the 'thing' is pretty funny, so I hope it scores well in humor. It deserves it.

I love the game you describe in text. with the "whoosh" and "particle effects". ha!

I like the subtle movements in the hair, and the field behind the girl.

I would consider the extra text at the very end before it loops as an easter egg. it got one last chuckle out of me.

Hey Kuro! It was nice "playing" your game! You got me laughing a few times.

These visuals are quite impressive, perfectly animated. (obviously talking about the game itself, not the ending cutscene - which is okay-ish)

I hope you have more time during the next LD to implement this amazing game that you are describing!

@rolly Really? I thought the ending cutscene was the best part. It was worth waiting past the second loop-through for it.

Besides that, I really enjoyed this! It was beyond cute, I love getting a look into people's thoughts and everything was really pretty to look at too, the corn field and the girl are all really well drawn and animated. I've really been wanting to do stuff like this and have been shoehorning in walls of texts I write at 3am as easter eggs into my last few LD's because there' just something so.. I don't know. Interesting, I guess, babbling on and on for something that people will probably never read. But it's so comforting, just to talk about things, anything, everything.

I guess if you closed the game it wouldn't loop forever, would it, but also in a way it does loop forever if you want it to, so you could still say that it loops forever, couldn't you?

Maybe next jam you can team up with a programmer so you **can** spend the whole jam drawing and still make a solid game?

awesome graphics and really appreciated the laughs. Too bad it didn't come together in the end, it sounded like a great idea. As suggested above, maybe team up with some programmers for a jam so that the game can come together :)

Pretty polished experience all things told! Great to have a little introductory game before everything falls apart. Then, the news cutscene itself looks pretty good.

An interesting thing: it is actually surprisingly straining on my eyes to try to read the text while holding the spacebar. But, I also wasn't going to resort to just letting it scroll past on the slow speed. Near the end of the game ( ) I developed a strategy where I would quickly scroll some text on to the screen, and then release spacebar so I could read it with less eye strain.

So, there you have it... your game even has some strategy involved!

I dont know why I expected something at the end lmao. Even though you might not have had enough time for what you wanted to create, it still gave me enough laughs to read through everything!

I read all the text, The slow flow of words and the wind-blown wheat fields and hair give it all a rhythm or something. Fortunately my gaming experience isn't cancelled ^-^

Nice entry, the announcement was the best part.

Something different to break the pace when trying and reviewing all the farming simulators. Great character animation and background. I laughed inside couple of times when reading the announcement 'til it looped.

Looking at my scoring for this, it shows how far you can actually specialize in certain category in the cost of others and still call it a successful entry

I did not even trust the first time it looped until it had been going for a bit

How hilarious if you had an actual game trigger at that point haha

Well this certainly was an experience, and I am glad you participated instead of skipping it. One of the best parts of LD is seeing how you manage to create something cool and unexpected using particles, and this time was no exception. I spent most of the time "Playing", watching the crop particle effect. Glorious!

Amazing game, ~~but I got stuck at level 5 (or 6? I mean the one with the particularly hilarious hot bunny cameo)... Unbelievable what you managed to deliver on in only 2 days!~~

~~The day-mode is no problem, but the night-mode I had no idea how to harvest all those heads. (Love how grim this game tends to get - especially the dialogue!)~~

~~Also love the PSA-like intro trying to make me believe there's nothing at the end of it. What can I say, I'm a sucker for hidden gameplay :D~~

Ok, apparently people already had the same idea for a comment...

Funny af, cool style, gorgeous animations and innovative gameplay are aspects I associate your name with by now, and you deliver on all of it. Even the last one. Especially the last one :D
