Organ harvester by tenshi42

[raw]
made by tenshi42 for Ludum Dare 52 (JAM)

You work for a hospital and your patients are waiting for an organ transplant. Go out in the street and find some potential donors !

You must choose wisely considering the following characteristics :

  • Blood group : The donor must be of the same blood group as the patient

  • Organ quality : Organs are rated from D (worst) to S (best). The better the organ, the more points you get !

  • Age : Try to get a donor with an age as close as possible to the receiver's

  • Time : Your time is limited, if you're not quick enough, your patient will die ! If you're fast, you'll get extra points.

Once you've located the perfect donor, you must punch them until they're knocked-out. Then you can pick them up and carry them to the hospital. Talk to the NPC to validate the quest. If you're done with all the quests, the level is over !

Good luck and enjoy ! :)

This game is fun !
Music is a (little) annoying and mouse move quite fast, but... FUN

A little buggy, but I like the idea, and the music/graphics are great. Reading the info over peoples' heads is difficult due to the font, font size, and the speed at which they walk... but I guess that's what makes the game hard.

Also, the city looks cool, and being able to go inside buildings is always fun, even if it's pointless.

Nice entry!

Fun game, I loved the visuals and the premisse! I just think there was too much info to get track and it can get a bit confusing. Anyway, great job team!

I got stuck on the sidewalks and punched a little too many random people because the collision and movement was a bit janky.
I really liked the randomly generated people and the graphics!

This feels very ambitious on the coding side, and I didnt see anything that looked like a bug. Unfortunately, the text above the victims' heads is too hard to read most of the time due to movement, overlapping with other text boxes, and bad font and color choice. The difficulty of the game was essentially squinting, trying to read, and then just getting interrupted in that process constantly. Props for the ambitious attempt.

I pretty much liked that game. The graphics were really cool. Just the music was a bit annoying but prob. that's personal preference. Overall very solid entry!
