I'm also biased cause our team also went for a Dune theme! Check it out https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/52/harvest-dune
I agree it's really funny to throw humans into the worm + the sound effect. It's got a nice little gameplay loop. I wish it had some more objectives though, like a score to beat or something.
Then the worm got me .
Here is my playtest:

Nice work guys! :)
Nice models, and miniature sized play area! Good job!
Could possibly be expanded with things like random Freman attacks?
Fun game though! The gameplay is intuitive and it's nicely polished too, great work!
Gameplay loop worked pretty well, and the effect when harvesting spice was definitely a nice touch, though it would definitely have been nice to have some sort of sign as to where the worm was going to show up next, right now it felt a little random?
Good work!

To get back to the game:
I was looking forward to this, and I wasn't disappointed.
I'm sad there wasn't more progression/unique gameplay, but the high level of polish is an acceptable replacement :P

Great work! I didn't know I wanted this, but now I'm going to go hunt for more DUNE games...
The graphics are amazing and it plays nicely.
You did a great job :D nice work!
I did lose a harvester when I dropped a beacon on a worm even though the harvester was on the other side of the map at the time. It just exploded.
I thought the particles being pushed by the wind would be an indicator that things I dropped would be pushed in that direction.
I tried to complete the game but I didn't find the way how it works.
However it's nice work!
I did find it impossible to redirect the harvester if the worm was about to appear underneath it, which happened a fair amount. I also had the harvester randomly explode when the worm was no where near. I suspect sabotage.
VFX and models are nice and concept works well, though I would love to see more context and the end goal to your actions. Thanks for you submission!
For the gameplay I would have liked more interactions than feeding the worm and harvesting spice though... maybe making the harvester overrun some rebels or luring the worm eat fremen or something. The game also didn't seem to get any harder so the gameplay was one trick pony to the core and I died more from losing interest than actually losing the game.
Sounds were ok, graphics were good and fit the theme nicely. Nice of you go to the roots of harvesting, I give you extra for theme for that... As you might know the word "harvester" for RTS games comes originally from dune. Good work!
