This game was incredible, the atmosphere was spot on. Hearing the bat flutters and monster noises but not seeing it till it was too late. Very impressive!

The Screen resolution is a bit weird on the webplayer but I like the game itself.

I'm a sucker for top-down games and this one had great sound and mood! I tried to whack the zombie with my axe but apparently that did not work.

Nice shadows and sound effects. Had to put my browser on full screen to see everything, anyway the atmosphere was really nice.

Loved the atmosphere and the limited vision: I kept turning around after every hit to check if I was safe lol!

Very nice lighting! Couldn't find any monsters or exits, but the mood and overall feel of the game was well done.

Like @natiki said I also kept turning around after every move to check if I was safe  you managed to create an atmosphere like in a horror!

The concept is simple and effective, the atmosphere is very captivating, the light is very well manage, it lacks a little challenge or dynamism but it is a game that has potential! Good job! =)

I love the atmosphere and pixel art, the gameplay was a little lacking though.

You absolutely smashed the atmosphere with the art and sounds, as others said.

Also I love the design for the main character - I'm a sucker for old diving suits in games!

Extremely atmospheric; the sound effects did an amazing job of creating some tension.

My only niggle was the lighting and shadow casting (I think if you hadn't put the shadows in, I wouldn't have noticed), but the shadows only affect the floor. The walls are completely illuminated by the torch, even when they shouldn't be. I guess it's an artistic choice, but it bugged me more than it should have :)

Despite my personal thoughts on lighting, the game played extremely well; it felt good to walk around and the restricted view made it feel claustrophobic. An excellent basis for a potential horror game if you want to expand it in the future; old style diving suits and dark caves seem to be a good match :)

Great little game here! The mood is fantastic and the light/shadows/sounds lend to the tension so well. The monster AI is good, and I like that they don't move too quickly as long as you watch your back and don't get boxed in. The different ore types being worth different amounts was a nice touch, and I was always excited when I'd spot a green/purple glint in the distance. My current high score is 90, but I'm hoping to top 100 soon! :D

NICE job on the mood. Excellent spook factor. The jump scares with the acoustic hits definitely got me a few times! You did really well with the sound design overall, and really left room for those tense moments. I'm really impressed!

The controls were a little unexpected at first (I actually backed out of the cave the first time on accident, thinking I would move forward), but I eventually got used to them.

I wonder how it would change the gameplay if the player were able to fight back. Since the player is carrying some sort of pickaxe, it would make sense to me. But, it might make the game too little of a challenge!

Given what you built, I think you might really enjoy ours for a spooky time!

Ohh pretty tense atmosphere in this one, actually got kind of scary. Never managed to get out alive because the creatures kill instantly and it's a bit hard to notice them due to all the darkness. Which of course makes it scarier but also a bit too difficult for me.

Really great atmosphere! The lighting system combined with amazing sound effects makes the whole ~~mining~~ harvesting process very intense and unnerving. I wish the exits from the cave were highlighted in any way (maybe with some flow, like the harvesting points), because sometimes it's hard it understand if you are heading to the exit, or is it just another corridor.

Pretty atmospheric, good job with the sound design and lighting to achieve a suitably creepy vibe. Only issue was that I wasn't sure if there would be other exits or if I should remember and backtrack to my entrance. Pretty soon I found I was basically lost which takes away from the idea of choosing to exit or stay in the cave, since I was searching for an exit anyway. Still, nice work overall though.

Really spooky game! I found the lack of a circular light around the player a bit annoying, but mechanically it really worked. It was realistic, and super, super easy to accidentally be side-swiped by an enemy. The game as well, as a result, felt super super creepy. I was kept on edge the whole time! Absolutely great job on the mood. I kind of wish there were a bit more interplay between the enemies and the things you're harvesting, as it seems just rushing the high-value targets is always the best, and isn't *super* risky. I dunno. Great job though!

Really great first entry! I love the art, and the atmosphere is perfect. Making the enemies get faster over time was a nice touch.

As soon as I noticed the zombies had gotten much faster I started looking for the exit. I managed to survive my first run with 62.

Great game! One of my favorites! The atmosphere is brilliant. Love the diegetic soundscape. The shadow effect and the normal mapping mapping combined with the pixelated textures looks great. There's not much going on, but I love the huge map and that the decisions you make have an effect on the thrill, which builds up until you panic.

Very well done and thanks for the experience!

Cool little game, really atmospheric and the lighting and art was spot on and the rumbling of the soundscape as you foraged for bits to harvest was a really solid combination!

Very nicely polished!

The sounds design is great and the small touches like having the resource your harvesting glow on its own really adds to the feel of the game.
