Best game I played until now for this Jam. The audio brings so much fun and the click/release button mecanic is so easy and fun.

The game has an excellent core gameplay, it just needs a bit of balancing, it is too easy to earn money. The sounds and vibe are great! Well done!

This is a really cool concept. As mentionned the game is pretty easy and becomes more of an idle game if you want to do the highest score.

I love the message the game sends: overfishing kills your fun as it destroys ecosystems. It reminds me of "Gibbon: Beyond the Trees" where when the forest is on fire you have less game giving a realistic feeling of what happens in nature.

Yeah, the balancing is eh, we were trying to balance the fishing and it was late, so we never even thought to increase the gold drain. eh live and learn. Thanks for the comments. have a wonderful day!

Ninja patches incoming. Rebalanced the drain to make game a bit harder to play. Also, the population counters are now amazing.

Despite the very simple graphics, this is still a very charming and funny game. I love how satisfying it is, and the audio is suprisingly fitting.

Same for the controls, it's very snappy and efficient.

ShiNy! The Kobold sound effects are adorable and adds a lot of personality to the game. I like how intuitive the controls are. If there are opportunity for more features, adding a way to use the money would be so cool, such as a speed boost. Great work!

seriously though this was so good, i guess you could build on it if you wanted but it already has kobolds and kobold noises so i don't really see what you'd add

Can't echo enough what other people have said. Good game, fun core gameplay, extinction mechanic is neat, sound effects are great, and could probably play infinitely with how fast populations replenish. Overall very solid entry!

I like the sounds these guys make, nice bit of strategy, is fishing harvesting hmmmm. Yeah a decent game would be nice to have some sort of goal to go towards, I had to make the fish extinct to see the ending.

The base mechanic is solid, and the over-fishing element is a neat idea. I did end up making the fish go extinct on purpose because there was nothing new to do after catching 241 fish, though.

The art is basic but clear, and the sound effects are charming. This game had me **hooked** (get it?) much longer than I anticipated!

Good:
- simple concept
- simple graphics
- awesome sfx

Bad:
- After some time it gets monotone

Ugly:
- Fishes take a lot of time to respawn which leads to high idle time

Oh my god the yipyaps! Taking advantage of over-fishing being a problem and turning that into a mechanic was smart! Nice game overall, but it does get a bit boring after a while!

The lil yip and yap SFX were so cute haha, I love them! I was confused at first but once I figured it out, it's fun to sail around haha. But the sounds make it amazing, nice job!

Cool idea, yip! Love the sound effects, yap! Maybe add some dander like: shark or reef, yip? Maybe more kobalds to find and pick up as speed/radius upgrade, yap? Good luck with further development, yip.

this is a good idea a wrapped in a very funny game! sailing at the rhythm of yips and yaps was great! the gameplay itself is kinda minimalistic and gets repetitive, and i lost a bit of interest with time. however i've had such a pleasing experience!

Haha! I love it! Super cute, I love the mousedrawn art style and the little sounds the kobolds make! Why is it so satisfying? I think the main thing that makes this game fun is going around collecting tons of fish at once, feeling very powerful, like in Vampire Survivors. Therefore, I purpose that you get rid of the waiting for fish to respawn time and instead focus the gameplay on getting stronger and catching more and MORE FISH YIP YAP. . . (like in Vampire Survivors)
