Darkly funny. The story and graphics were cute and engaging. The harvesting mechanics felt a little klunky, the aiming felt overly complicated and using the right button was hard with a trackpad.

Wow! Interesting! Very tragic  Poor pigs!

When I was playing it, I wished I could shoot through the apples that were already falling. Also, maybe it would be more fun if the jump was faster. But I still enjoyed it :D Good submission!

Excellent story and graphics! I had some difficulty with the controls too but I like the humor.

The much-anticipated sequel to the popular Happy Piggy Farm. This game's got it all - pigs, tigers, apples and a brooding commentary on capitalistic classism! Sorry fellow farm animals, it's every pig for themselves out there!

10/10 would get eaten by tigers again

Firstly, those poor piggies - The hunger of hunger games there, though may the best piggy survive. Lovely humor & story in it!

A funny and meaningful story! It seems that the apples are randomly generated which sometimes make it hard to find enough good apples, but it is an overall cool game!

Not what I thought the game would be, a shooting harvesting platformer with an emotional backstory, down with the tigers bro!

Reminded me of animal farm. Sounded kinda like a reverse revenge of the pigs
From villains to heroes.
I noticed that pigs are also your jams' continuous theme, nicely done.
With simple art style the game runs smoothly and kept me engaged.
Well done!

Cool game but sad. Also sometimes you fail because of bad RNG

This game is fun and funny and whilst it is pretty simple it really does the job. I was Pleasantly surprised by this one. One of my Favourites from the Jam so far!

I LOVE IT!

Such a funny game and an excellent jam entry. It's nice to see another game with a focus on dialog and story. I honestly didn't even care what the gameplay was because I was so invested in the story and the sentiment. I'm glad you didn't make it more punishing to fail a day. That was a really smart decision. I know you didn't make the music and sfx but they were still very well selected and I think they added a lot to the game. It seemed pretty luck based on whether you found enough apples or not but that didn't bother me because it kind of felt like it fit with the story.
I like to suggest an improvement in each of my reviews but honestly this one was pretty perfect. If I were to add 1 thing though then I think it would be a hardcore mode where if you are the worst then you are eaten by the tigers. Mostly just because I'd like to see how you handled the dialog and visuals for that.
Amazing job congrats.

I loved it! Last rounds plot twist caught me off guard. I liked the visual novel aspects in-between rounds and the story overall. Only thing that bothered me was jump bound to lmb (instead of spacebar) and maybe graphics a little but it gave the game a charm.

Hey that's a nice little game. There was one thing that really bothered me when playing. The story says that pigs are harvesting apples for the tigers. So it doesn't make sense for them to kill any of the pig, as even if lazy, they are still a benefit. Second thing was that whenever you "harvested" an apple there was an apple eating sound effect indicating that the pig is indeed eating it rather than harvesting.

Gameplay wise, I would improve on readability of the game. If you want player to use jump ability, make an obstacle that is obvious requirement of jump usage rather than a rock that is 1/4 of pig height but is blocking her. Fence would be ideal.

Otherwise, it was nice, unexpected ending. I wonder what would happen if I collected 0 apples as well...

Damn this is one hard game! I still had fun though but the controls and player feel could be improved :)

That story got real dark, real quick! lol I do wish the rocks flew a little faster, though.

A really simple but fun little game that surprised me- I was not expecting to get so emotionally attached haha. I really like how the gameplay gradually introduces new mechanics every day, and the idea that you're competing to survive keeps the stakes constantly feeling high. Then at the very end, when the only remaining opponent chooses not to engage in the game to let you survive, it feels a lot more powerful as a result. Great work!!

Funny and fun to play game with cute piggies and a moral. I think it would be more intuitive if the jump was mapped to a keyboard button such as space or W instead of the left mouse button and shooting was mapped be done with the more common left mouse button.

As a fellow pig game creator for this Ludum Dare, I approve! ;)

Very nice and funny game, I like the dialogues between the rounds of gameplay, it breaks things up a little bit.
