Very creative mechanic I really like it

Great idea! Very fun!

Nice game! The dithered shadow/line of sight effect looks really cool! I like how you could find pieces while searching around, and it was interesting to try some basic chess tactics like keeping your pieces defending each other.

Creative idea, using chess pieces for movement makes the game feel very unique although the pawn being able to take non-diagonally did surprise me.

It's great that you decided to publish your game as extra instead of giving up, because this is a very cool concept, I love it!
It was sometimes frustrating to be captured by an unseen queen or pawn, and exploration was sometimes a bit tedious, but all in all I had a great time, good work! I would be interested to play an improved version, maybe with 3D graphics and ambient lighting, it would add to the atmosphere.

This is a pretty cool idea, and competently executed, too.

But, to be honest, I think the scale of the game exceeds the number of UI conveniences available: scrolling is a bit too slow for such a big map, animations are a bit too slow when you're trying to control so many units, that sort of thing...

But the game was still fun! Thanks for finishing it.
