I am absolutely blown away by the art quality here. Don't know how you managed it, but what ever you did, keep doing it!

Not rating because the art looks AI made, you should note it down in the description if it was pre-generated (some details on pictures show AI artifacts) :(

Beautiful art and very fun game!
My main minus is that I don't like how disruption focussed the AI is. Not only is it not a winning strategy (I pulled ahead very quickly), but I didn't get to use a lot of the cheap disruption cards (especially bunny) because AI took them the moment they appeared.

Pros:
- Amazing graphics
- Very polished game
- Implemented AI
- Possibility to play with other person on same PC
- Interesting mechanics

Cons:
- Randomization (during first play I didn't receive any crops and couldn't do much)

Overall I'm very impressed - this one of the best games I saw this jam so far.

Very nice game with fantastic art. I think my monitor is a bit to small, because I couldn't see the whole game at first. Once I had that figured out, however, I had a lot of fun with the game. The game is well balanced and I like the variety of cards. It was easy to understand how to play the game and there was quite a bit of depth and strategy to it.

Pretty game! It took me a couple of rounds to get it well enough until I could beat the AI. It's possible to get to a point where you can't play any card due to lack of resource and the game has no way of handling this by passing it seems.

Art is generally integrated pretty well except that some tiles have a different scale than others like the city looks too small compared to the trees in the forest.

I was having a strange issue where cards I selected to play would become unselected after around a second, making the game very difficult to play.

I didn't know that a game jam entry can be that beautiful! I don't know how you managed that - but even if the other commenter's suspicion is correct and you used AI tools to make the graphics, putting it together so nicely any with that level of matching styles is still a huge accomplishment. Only the very plain shapes / non-texture of the red, blue and grey hexagon outlines destroyed that perfection a bit.

The gameplay was nice, but honestly did not quite live up to the high expectations that the graphics had set. Some of the more interesting cards turned up very late in the game, or not at all.

*A bit meta: As this is your first game for Ludum Dare: are you aware that the number of ratings that you get is influenced by how many ratings you give to others? And that you need to get 20 ratings to be included in the overall scoring / ranking? Maybe you didn't know, or didn't have time to play and rate others?*
