Delivery Maze by Kusaihana

[raw]
made by Kusaihana for Ludum Dare 52 (JAM)

This year you need to deliver your harvest in a marble maze! Deliver correct crops your harvest to requested points. If you get a crop nobody needs, you can basically drop it out of the maze.

Use right & left arrow keys to rotate the maze.

That was fun! The spinning of the level made me slightly dizzy but I'm not sure how else it could be executed. Perhaps it could be camera locked with a bit of lag so you get the sense of rotation? Cool nevertheless.

Very nice. unique concept, and it plays pretty cleanly. not overly complicated, but a nice little game that does what it is supposed to and could easily be expanded on.

Holy shit i got jumpscared by that noise .
Nice game, reminds me of that wooden maze game with the metal ball in it.
A bit annoying that when i had already completed all the tomatoes i got another 3 that I had to drop out of the maze.
I believe some ball rolling/bouncing noise would add a lot. Good game!

Interesting concept. Loved how the purple vegetables sometimes get stuck. Got a bit dizzy as well.

Fun concept. I enjoyed how the fruits gave off a little light and how the different shaped fruits had different shaped colliders. Could use some more sound and some music.

Nice work. The different shapes was a fun twist on the traditional tilting maze, and I liked slowly completing all of the different jobs around the board. I was pretty frustrated after the first couple of times tossing out a crop I didn't need - I had to get rid of a total of 9 tomatoes to finish the game, and one time got four in a row. It took some willpower to push past that. There was also one situation where I had an eggplant and lemon remaining to complete, but the eggplant spot was in the way of the lemon spot. I got a lemon first, and just decided to push it through rather than ditch the lemon attempting to roll an eggplant. Oh well!

The physics worked really well on this, it was solid and without bugs, and I enjoyed my time with it. Thanks for the submission!

Nice little game. I'd really like to know if you could speedrun this after making that game :D

Really cool concept! I liked having to navigate through the maze. I didn't really mind the repeated things, but I wish the openings were a little bit bigger so that the fruit didn't sometimes get stuck.

A nice physics-based puzzle. Getting the same wrong fruit and having to ditch over and over again was rather frustrating though.

Really cool game. It reminds me of those old plastic mazes where you need to roll te ball down to :)). Only thing id say it needs is either to be able to change fruits or to be able to get to every fruit always, becuase sometimes you spawn with a bad one and you just have to lose score.. Also its really impressive that you made it in 12 hours!!

I thought this was fun. Finished the first level, but got a little bored afterward. Maybe start off with a few smaller/easier levels, to build up the momentum? I also got a touch dizzy. Not sure what to do about it though.

Cool game! I liked the little glow effect on the walls. I also found it kind of frustrating to get the wrong crop at the end... I had to ditch it like 6 times or so... ;)

Nice game and great work for 12 hours!
There is a lot to expand upon, which is great!
you should have let people rate it.

Great stuff for something done in so little time, the challenge here is mostly on the execution side rather than actual problem solving, I wonder how you could lean more on that or shift to more a problem solving perspective. Playing with the physics is pretty fun and presents an interesting challenge, I like it!

Cool game! Some feecback for you:

- I missed some background music
- It was not clear that you turn into a tomato when going out of bounds. That cloud have been more clear
- I like how each fruit behaves diffrently (egg plant gets more stuck for instance)
- The game did feel a bit tedious to play though. The concept is great! But there was something missing I think. Some drive to keep on playing
