You're a sneaky vampire visiting The Village on the night of the Harvest Festival. Your goal is to harvest as much blood as possible before dawn arrives.

Goal

Harvest as much blood as possible before the sun comes up. Heroes protecting the village will give a greater bounty. Make sure you remove their holy protection before harvesting! If the fight gets tough, go back to the fields and harvest some sweet farmers.

At midnight, the vestal queen of the harvest will appear to participate in the festival...the most pure of all.

This game was really fun and you incorporated the theme in a really unique way. However, when i played the game it was extremely laggy and it was really hard between the different characters and if they had a holy shield or not

Very impressive showing! There's a lot of detail in the town you made, and it was nice to just look around while trying to suck out blood. The gameplay did feel a little binary, there may have been more ways to handle the "combat", but overall it was fun and looked really good!

Really good game, the only feedback I could give is that the enemies tend to form long chains then be fairly easy to kill. Making the pathfinding for them change between enemies (multiple paths) could maybe help to break this up and also make it harder just to run from them.

The effects on the enemies were really nice! It took a while to figure out that you can harvest the town defenders after destroying their holy shield. The difference in point values between the villagers, defenders, and queen made it seem like it wasn't worth doing anything but harvesting the queen and then farming the defenders. Overall a very impressive jam game!

Fun game! I really liked the cute animal-crossing-ish art. The characters and world fit really well together, and every individual asset looks great. The mechanics were fun - I liked the different character types it worked well for letting me choose my level of risk vs reward, although the jumps felt really dramatic, maybe x100 instead of x1000 could still have the desired effect without being as extreme? Also, after a while of running around, I did have a pretty much unassailable group of heroes built up that was chasing me. Maybe something in their AI to spread them out? Or just some kind of ability for them to lose tracking at some point. I ended up with a score of about 250,000 which felt pretty good.

Got the harvest queen my second go 'round. Died on the first because I was trying to suck shield dudes and it took me way too long to realize I couldn't. I do have to say the camera felt a little too far out, but otherwise it looked and played great. Solid entry!

Very cool art for the characters, it would be cool if the camera was closer so you can see them more during gameplay.

Fun little game, managed to get the queen and hit 253701. I agree with the others that might have been nice to have the camera a little bit closer to appreciate the art more. I was initially confused that I had an attack and was killing stuff but not increasing the score, until I released the blood sucking was a separate button. The hunters are easy enough to avoid so its just a question of sucking up a bunch of them to boost the score and keeping an eye on the health and running away in time before it gets too low. The queen is a nice little addition. A solid entry that keeps things fun by keeping the game length short. The character feels maybe a touch sluggish, but aside from that no complaints. Charming visuals and nice and appropriate music choice, gameplay is short and sweet but fun. Solid.

Nice entry, I had fun playing, mechanics are dynamic and graphics are very beautiful !
I tried to play with my gamepad but only the left stick was working, not sure why, maybe because it's a xbox 360 gamepad ?

Sound effects would help. Hit effects are quite nice.
Great colours. Great trees.
The silhouette shader when obscured is a nice touch.
Well done.

(Edit: the harvest queen was worth so many points that after she was harvested I just stopped. :P)

Very nice game! Music & design are cute, gameplay is pretty fun. Buildings sometimes covered my fov, so it would be great if they become half-transparent.Anyway nice entry, good luck!

Fun little game! Liked the mechanic of the shield guys being bloodbags you have to break down a bit to harvest

Cool game, I liked the graphics a lot and the combat was alright. I think the point balance could have been a bit better though
