Direct the Blobbies to work together to harvest raw materials, manufacture components, and then deliver their finished hats to the depot before it’s too late! Build the Little Hat Factory to hire Blobbies and outfit them with their own hats so they can get to work. Blobbies like to deliver to the place closest to them, depending on what they’re holding, so they’ll need close supervision. Some buildings may need to be relocated to allow the Blobbies to work effectively. Each successful delivery resets the clock and a new order comes in, but the delivery window decreases each time. See how long you can keep up!

If gameplay feels a little slow or fast, adjust the play speed to either get the Blobbies movin’ faster, pause the clock, or to slow ‘em down so nobody gets dizzy. Music volume can also be adjusted in the menu.

For better performance, use a native build rather than the web version. If running in browser, runs best in chrome/chromium. In the web version, there may be some audio stuttering at low frame rates.

All assets were created for, and after the start of the game jam.

Barely plays in a browser. Three refineries and a small hat factory in it's lagged enough that I can't place blobbies.

There's a lot in here for a two man game. Well done. It was a little confusing at first, but once I got the hang of it things were pretty straight forward. The audio was pretty choppy, no music might have been better as you opted out of audio anyway. Graphics are really nice, and fit well.

Good stuff :8ball:

@falkreon What browser/cpu/gpu you are using? It runs much better on chrome (or chromium based browsers) than fire fox.

That was a nice factorio-like game!
I don't understand the first comment about performance, it ran like butter on my end and there's also a downloadable executable.
The first minutes of gameplay is a bit rough to grasp, but then when I understood that the little blobs are the workers and that there are ressources and factories I knew what to do. Great job guys, this is very on par with the theme!

It was really hard to understand what I'm supposed to be doing :<. I don't have prior experience with games like these, and a tutorial would have been really appreciated.
Edit: oops i don't know how i made those extra comments, my bad!

Holy smokes. The art and music are amazing. It's very relaxing as I harvest my precious resources, heh. Good job!

I don't think it does the best job of explaining or leading the playing into understanding what the core mechanics are. I was confused for a while. Looks great though and I like the sound track!

Really fun once I figured out what I was doing.

A neat automation game. I thought that the method of directing the blobbies (telling them what resource to pick up and then having them try to fill any/all buildings that call for that resource) was really interesting. Felt rather unique!

Big fan of Factorio and the like, so I really like seeing entries like this. Great work! :)

Took a minute to sort out how to unselect something, and figure out what 'assigning' does, but in the end plays rather well! Ended up with 14 hats and gajillions of plastic but this was really fun to play!
I'd say a hundred million in each pile is way more than enough resources to play with so not sure why you'd need many piles of them (perhaps later in the game?) This was very good :)

Took a bit to figure out like ^ everyone said, but figuring it out was fun in itself. Didn't have any framerate problems either with the exe.

As a fan of Factorio I can only love this game! Thanks!
Took me a while to understand how it works, but then it ticked and it was all bliss!!
Very nice!

Fun strategy game! But dut to the lack of content (it's jam after all) it was played like puzzle. At first I was trying to figure out how to control Blobbies, but once I did I restarted the game, built proper production line and delivered 14 hats. I wish different factories have distinct visuals but it's good that they show titles on mouse hover.
Great job!

Respecc, respecc, respecc for this ammount of work for 2 people. Really nice game, liked the mood. Only thing was it became rally choppy when i got more blobs but it's expected. Also they were getting quite laggy in bigger quantities but well its 3 day game so for this ammount of time reaaaaly god job!

This was a nice game, a lot in such a small time frame. One thing to note is the lack of hand-holding tutorial to walk you through, instead of just throwing you straight into the game, but it is understandable due to the lack of time. Other than that, it gets better over time, and it's a great game!

A lot has been done, great job! I have to admit i was lost at first, so the learning curve is not ideal, but once you got what to do, it is a really well done game! It's not my kind of games, but i got hooked long enough for me to say that i liked it!

Cool concept (bit of a Factorio vibe) and the aesthetic is great, love the music. Took me a bit to get the hang of the controls and how to actually interact with things so a tutorial would have been nice. (Also maybe needs a way to deselect your current selection, I think I did some accidental moves/builds that way.) The map actually feels quite cluttered for how the game actually works once you get things going. It also wasn't clear how to actually get the blobbies to get set up on intended routes, like I didn't know if I was supposed to click on the thing I wanted or the destination or both - sort of had to brute force my way through making a logistics chain without really understanding how to get things to work. I actually had a big hat made with 20 seconds to spare and in a blobby's inventory and it just refused to actually drop it off at the delivery point at the bottom despite being next to it which was just so frustrating :( Still the game was engaging enough to actually get me to keep playing to that point, which is a good sign. With some quality of life tweaks this could be really awesome. Great work!

I really liked the calm athmosphere and art. In the beginning it was a bit confusing what to do and what the recipes are. Some little icons for resources would go a long way to improve that.

I must admit I'm really confused how this game works. It looks really neat and has a good mood, but I finally manage to place some workers and harvest some materials but had no clue how to activate the factories.

Took a while to figure out how it all worked and where to place everything and what to click on to make the blobbies do the right thing but it was satisfying to see it all come together. The music was also a really good choice - set a nice atmosphere to the game and made the frustrating beginning parts a lot less frustrating. Graphics were lovely too, love the neon glow, just wish I could have had a closer look at the blobbies! The concept of farming all these raw materials to make hats was strange but poignant and I liked it. Really great work!
